Earn Op: Defender of the "Fatherland!"

-for the grinders...?
"you'll need to deal 500 direct damage in a multiplayer
battle"...
Lets count in best way:
if per battle~10 direct shots and 1 battle ~12 min (finish
battle and load new)
To get 500 you need 50 battles
Or 600 min OR 10 HOURS FOR 1 Loot Drop
Loot Drop doesn't not means medal...
Seems Ops is to force you open your wallet.
I hope I'm wrong...

500 damage (not shots) in every game played will qualify for a
loot drop. 1 in 5 chance of getting a medal. 5 medals to get
and they don't repeat. I hate random stuff but the reward
appears to be worth the effort and hopefully the drop rewards
are equally weighted.

I think it would look something like this 20% chance to get a
medal, and a 20% of getting the correct medal. Now the math gets
way to hard, but free tanks have been getting harder to get so
most likely it will not be easy.

LOL! It's just 500 damage in a game to get a loot drop for that
game. You only get one per game, though, so doing 2k damage
won't get you four drops.
The only catch: you have to be in a Soviet tank.
That's it.
The biggest issue is that it's a lottery -- some might get all
five medals needed for the tank in a day or two. It might take
others a week. Seems ... odd, but it is a free tank.wotoff

That's why some of the ones ticked off about the OP conditions
plan on getting the 500 damage, then suiciding until they
complete the OP.

Trying to channel my college maths... I believe the following to
be true:
Assuming a 20% chance of getting a medal, the number of battles
(wherein 500 pts of damage was achieved in a Soviet tank) needed
to get one medal should be:
50% chance achieved in 4 games,
75% chance achieved in 10 games,
80% chance achieved in 14 games,
84% chance achieved in 65 games,
(seem to be getting convergence to 84%...which feels wrong. But
then I'm not a mathmagician...)
After 14 games, it pretty much stays at or around 80%, and
clearly you, yes you! Are not a lucky tanker.
Can anyone verify these percentages? It has been a long time...
:nerd:
So. It looks like, if I'm lucky, and can achieve medals in the
80% chance range, I can get the five medals in, what? 70 games
of 500-damage-or-better?
How many days, again, do I have to achieve this? :fainting:
