Trans-am Series Racing

Trans-am Racing is coming soon!
This will be a supplemental multi-class racing series to our
main event racing.
Eligible cars for Group 1 Over 2.0 liters:
Tuned to class C
1971 AMC Javelin AMX
1969 Chevy Camaro SS
1970 Chevy Camaro Z28
1969 Chevy Nova
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
1968 Dodge Dart
1965 Ford Mustang GT
1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302
1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
1970 Mercury Cougar
1971 Plymouth Cuda
1969 Pontiac Firebird
1973 Pontiac Firebird
Eligible cars for Group 2 Under 2.0 liters:
Tuned to class D
1965 Alfa Romeo GTA
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
1970 Datsun 510
1973 Ford Capri
1966 Ford Lotus Cortina
1968 Lancia Fulvia
1965 Mini Cooper
1979 Opel Kadett
1970 Porsche 914/6
1963 Volkswagen Beetle
1967 Volvo 123GT
Our first race will be solely Group 1 with the bottom half of
finishers moving down to Group 2 for the next race. After that,
the bottom Group 1 driver for each race will move down to Group
2 and the top driver of Group 2 wil move up to Group 1.

After doing research, I'm not including the Falcon. The 71
Falcon is an Australian model and no Australian cars were raced
in Trans-Am. The only Falcon raced was a 1966 North American
model, which is a different body type.

2nd Week will be at Laguna Seca. Group 1 drivers will be
Triumph, BadDad, and Remy. Group 2 drivers will be SPF, mrzip,
and all other drivers.
One rule that has been set: racers must drive the same car each
week until moved to another group. If the racer returns to the
original group, he may choose another car to race.
