Fantasy Island show

Was OK, I showed up around 10:30 registration went smooth, but
the crowd it ignorant, where I was parked it was not vary good,
they had me at entrance to the rollers coaster rides, I really
hated to leave my vehicle, I played security guard for just
about the whole time, with baby buggies, kids running all
around, and people leaning on my cars, it was not good, . My
cars are not prestige show cars but I have a lot of time, and
money in them, next year I will take Kait Kait to the park on an
off show day, it may be worth it to pay the full price. And
just to mention, Earl King had a kid dive on the hood of his
black 63 Corvette :o

They do park in classes, I was in the overflow area

Last time I went it was a disaster. I never liked the
traffic/parking, just me, but it is my $ and my car.

farthest distance award has turned into a joke, the farthest
distance award went to someone from Texas, do you think this
person actually drove from Texas to the Fantasy Island car
show!!! :D. People are using addresses of family and summer
homes, next year i`m using my sisters address from Houston Texas

Look at the logical side of it, $25 bucks in gas in each
vehicle, plus the entrance fees, I could of took Kait Kait on a
non show day, save money, and not have the risk my cars getting
molested by people who really don`t care to look at the cars on
display ::) it was way over a $100 day for me, but that is what
its all about I guess.
they should have signs up along the midway, please don`t touch
or lean on cars, and hire security

[/quote]Thats an expensive day.... I've been giving alot of
thought about doing only "free" events next year..Seems thats
the route the hobby is going to.. It's not about the cars at the
event or about the support of the cause and fundraising anymore,
its all about how much free stuff is offered...................

All in all it was fun for Kait Kait, and Jayden, most likely I
will be back, but I have to get their earlier
