273 heads

I been putting off getting the heads done on my 65 barracuda,
the cars runs great, but gives off some smoke when you step on
it, could be just valve seals. but I see on craigslist some
rebuilt heads for sale for a 273, I called about them and the
person I spoke to did not even know what price to ask for them
:D
If he gets back to me with a good price i may buy them, they
are off a later 273 so the intake bolt angles are different, I
would have to shop for another intake

Why not just pull your heads off and get them done?
Shouldn't take that long, and saves the expense of buying a set
of heads and nother inteke.

That seems like the best way Swi, that is what I may do, I
always hated to keep the car down, and apart but that seems like
the smartest way to do it, It will also be cheaper

Anyone know of a place besides Farley`s where I can get a price
on getting my heads done, I hardly ever send my stuff out to get
worked on so I lost track of some machine shops, dose K&S, or
Nichols - Hepp Machine Shop Inc still do this type of work
