Being kicked off a server for making a joke you thought was |
|
funny after reading it in a fanfic. You make an attempt to fix |
|
it by switching to something else only to be told you were |
|
kicked. |

So here's my story. |
|
I made a joke on the vent thread because we were stalking this |
|
convo between Dawnfrost and Angel. They were talking about how |
|
bad people on the forums by reporting religious threads. Angel |
|
makes a comment about how 'they know deep down its the truth' |
|
when its most likely not. A few of us make comments about how |
|
that's not likely because not everyone likes religion being |
|
shoved down our throats constantly. Here's the joke I made: |
|
Angel: God is so good, isn�t he? He�s done so much in my life. |
|
People so easily forget how good God actually is. He�s always |
|
such a blessing. Such a blessing. |
|
Me: Who is this lady? And what makes her think I really, really |
|
care? |
|
I thought it was funny cause I had read it somewhere and the |
|
others had reacted negatively so I tried changing the subject |
|
with something else and bu-dum I'm kicked from the server. I |
|
take it to another server and try explaining it. Instead I just |
|
get attacked and mocked for trying to explain. |
|
I get that it was bad but I was doing what they were doing. They |
|
were annoyed by who much Angel talks about her religious beliefs |
|
and that's what the thing I posted was about. My thoughts on |
|
when Angel talks about her beliefs and they choose to take it as |
|
I was disrespecting on her religion when it was really just more |
|
of this is what I think about when you talk about your religion |
|
constantly. |

Yes, Angel's constant religious talk is uncomfortable, but |
|
that's why we have the controversy thread, so we can avoid it |
|
and she can express herself. |
