Wings of Fire: Broken Fire

Prologue:
The skywing nuzzled her face to the icewing. They looked to the
small pinkish tint egg. Both happy at the small dragonet inside.
The mother sighed "Where will we go to Icicle? Neither kingdom
will want us!" She asked.
Icicle smiled "We'll leave! We can go live in a dragonet village
or the rainforest. Nobody will harm you or the egg, Fiery," He
promised. Fiery wrapped her tail over Icicle's.
Suddenly a group of icewings surrounded the two.
The queen smiled wickedly "I'm sorry for ruining such a touching
moment, but you both are now traitors to your queens," she
hissed.
Icicle shoved Fiery away "Fly!" He snapped and stared releasing
strong blasts of ice. The guards launched into an attack, all
four tackling him. Fiery grabbed her egg and stared flying away.
Her tail was grabbed and pulled out of the sky. The dragons
fought until both Icicle and Fiery were captured.
The queen placed a claw to her snout "What shall we do with you
two?" She purred. Then her face lit up "You'll both fight each
other until one is dead and the winner will go free," the queen
teased.
Eventually, during the battle Icicle lost and Fiery left. Never
seeing her dragonet egg hatch.
