| Tortoise eggs | |

| My Red Foot Tortoise presented me with a clutch of eggs laid | |
| down the furnace duct. I have no idea why the furnace duct is | |
| such a desirable place to lay eggs, selected over containers of | |
| mulch or dirt, but this is the second time she has done this. Of | |
| course I collected them and put them in an incubator but I | |
| haven't had a lot of luck hatching her eggs. What humidity is | |
| best for Red Foot eggs? | |

| Between 80-100% when incubating the eggs. Best temps are between | |
| 85-96 and they are temp sex dependent and most have seen less | |
| success with hatchlings when they are incubated over 90 degrees | |
