The Brainwashing of Christoph Watson |

|
A Government employee runs into the Smallville Police Station. |
|
He is out of breath, badly wounded, and looks terrified. |
|
Government Employee: He is one of them! |
|
Doc Jackson: He is one of who? Who is one of who? |
|
Government Employee: The new guy... Christoph Watson... is now a |
|
Smoker. |
|
Doc Jackson: That can't be... he has killed a number of our |
|
enemies. Why would he just go and join them? |
|
Government Employee: We were on an operation to gather as much |
|
intelligence as we possibly could -- killing any Smokers while |
|
we were at it. But... |
|
Doc Jackson: But what, son? |
|
Government Employee: We were spotted. Christoph ran into the |
|
building across the street to draw their attention away from me. |
|
They followed and I was able to escape through the back window. |
|
I heard lots of gunfire. A few Smokers looked injured, but none |
|
of them dead. The fire stopped and I saw the Smokers enter the |
|
building. |
|
Doc Jackson: And then what? |
|
Government Employee: Christoph was unconscious and they carried |
|
him away. They did not kill, but I wish they did... |
|
Doc Jackson: Don't say such things. |
|
Government Employee: I tried to be as careful as possible and |
|
follow them to see if I could rescue him, but they took him into |
|
a secure building and tied him up. They hit him and tortured him |
|
over and over again -- until he passed out. He would wake and |
|
they would repeat it. They showed him video after video of why |
|
the Government is the reason for the apocalypse. After a few |
|
days of camping in the dumpster... trying to think of a way to |
|
save him... I saw it. Christoph stopped resisting and began to |
|
watch the video on his own free will. He looked angry... like... |
|
he wanted to kill everyone and anything. I saw the Smokers untie |
|
him. They were still armed to the teeth. Christoph stood up, |
|
still injured, and shook the Warlord Feddy Fatfingers' hand. He |
|
then glared toward the window in my direction with the most |
|
menacing look I have ever seen... and then he smiled. After |
|
that... I ran as fast as I could. Luckily, I was able to get |
|
away. |
|
Doc Jackson: This can't possibly be true! |
|
Government Employee: We must make him a bandit. Warn all the |
|
civilians and other Government members that he cannot be |
|
trusted. Kill him on sight. He can no longer be trusted. Kill |
|
Christoph Watson. |
