| Scope doesn't have enough adjustment... | |

| Hey scope folks. | |
| I recently bought a new Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle. I have a | |
| Leupold VariX I'd like to put on it, but the bloomin' thing | |
| doesn't have enough latitude in crosshair motion, either up or | |
| down. | |
| So I'm wondering, what does one do in such a case? Buy shim | |
| material and shim the rings? Or is there some other, better fix. | |
| Right now, the 10/22 has a red dot on it (which I'm no big fan | |
| of), while the Leupold is doing an awesome job on a Marlin 336, | |
| bolt action .30-30. | |

| Sounds like it may be a problem with the mounts. | |

| NOPE! | |
| some of the older style Leopold scopes don't have much for | |
| adjustment. | |
| you have to use shim stalk to move them up or down in a lot of | |
| new gun and mounts... | |

| Use millet windage adjustable rings which I am selling 3 sets of | |
| on accuarate shooter. The other alternative is burris signature | |
| rings with the plastic inserts to adjust for lost windage. | |
