The class went smooth as expected. Now got to wait about 5 |
|
weeks for the permit to be mailed. |

Congrats on passing the class. I really enjoyed mine, lots of |
|
fun. Took 7 days for my permit to be isssued. Now the fun |
|
begins, finding the right gun and holster may take awhile. |

I got the Ruger P95 9mm. Great shooting gun and great price. |
|
Check out he Crossbreed Supertuck Holster.....I think the best |
|
money can buy for IWB. A person can make one for less than half |
|
the price. |

I looked at the Super Tuck Deluxe but went with the Galco King |
|
Tux instead. It was about half the price of the Deluxe and is |
|
built about the same way. Hides my full size 1911 very well. |
|
One thing I highly recommend is finding a good Lawyer well |
|
versed in Handgun Law. Talk to him/her and carry thier card in |
|
your wallet. If you get into a Shoot situation its better to |
|
have a Lawyer that you can call right away. Be very careful what |
|
you say until your Lawyer is present. |

Great advice on Lawyers no doubt. I hope I never get in a |
|
"shoot" situation. As for holsters....I have ordered Kydex, |
|
post screws, and clips for making my own holster. Got a great |
|
piece of leather at a local shop for a song. I will post a pic |
|
when finished. |
