Bushnell elite 1500 range finder |

I bought this used on another forum, I can't get it to read past |
|
400 yds, it works excellent to 400 yds tested on lots of deer |
|
and turkey, signs and rocks. It has the ARC and all the factory |
|
accessories the date on the unit is 2007. I will sell it for |
|
$150 shipped any less I will do some destructive testing on it. |
|
I will also consider trades. I have no use for a rangefinder |
|
that will not range 1200 yds, but I know many others do. I |
|
called Bushnell and they said "realignment" was $150. So it is |
|
what it is and I am firm on the price, just thought I would see |
|
if some one would like it before I got the hammer and punch out |
|

It is very normal for a range finder to only range 1/2 the |
|
rating. In Perfect conditions and lighting, perfectly still is |
|
how they rate them. BUT with that said you should be able to |
|
read out to around 700 yards. ALL the range finders out there do |
|
the same thing. Try it on a bench looking at a white building... |

I agree PB I just did my research AFTER I bought it (because |
|
thats how I roll) and it didn't do what I expected. So I thought |
|
I would see if anyone had a use for it before I opened it up and |
|
turned my mad scientist on so to speak ;D . I paid a bit more |
|
for it, but not so much I cant open it up and have a look see |
|
before it goes to the trash pile. It is of no use to me, and I |
|
feel the seller I got it from was honest in his description and |
|
that I was expecting more than I should have. I hope that |
|
someone will have a use for it and it is priced fair enough to |
|
rehome it. |

Also thanks for pointing that out, as I did not do a very good |
|
job of it myself. |
