Fox the next morning would be called back to mission control.
Jennings would be waiting with noticeable bags under his eyes.
His mane was messed up and it was clear he had no rest
whatsoever.

Foxtrot enters with a cup of coffee in hoof, his expression
serious when he sees Jennings. "Hey Colonel... what's wrong? No
offense, but you look like hell."

"Oh." The Colonel straightened himself up and tried to make
himself look a bit more presentable. "I apologize for that...
It's just that one of the asteroids has been stolen. At the same
time this base was attacked yesterday, the Appleloosa base was
hit hard...We lost a lot of soldiers and scientists... We have
now finally discovered that the attacking force has been a tiny
nation not far from Equestria. Fox I'm sorry, but we cannot
send you home anymore. You need to stay here under our
protection. We have no idea what they plan to do with the
asteroid, but all we know is your powers react strangely with
this rock."

Foxtrot takes a seat, remaining silent as he listens to the
Colonel explain the situation. After he does, he contemplates on
the grave circumstance they find themselves in. "Damn... uh,
alright. Umm, ok. At least we know where it is. That and the
fact that they can't do anything with it without me, or somepony
like me. So right now, as far as we know, it's just sitting
there. Do you guys have enough resources to get it back?"

The phone rang and Jennings went to go pick it up. Afterwards he
nodded and put the phone down.
"Foxtrot, you will be receiving information and orders from
somepony other than me. A director from the INS's operations
here wishes to speak to you in their control room. They will
have more information for you. Good luck." The colonel turned
around and returned to monitoring the asteroid.

Two ponies dressed in button down shirts and ties walked up
behind Fox.
"Foxtrot, please come with us."

Without saying a word, Foxtrot follows them to their
destination. With things escalating, he knew that these guys may
have the best solution thus far.

After numerous doors and required ID scans. They finally arrives
in one dark room, illuminated only by computer screens the lined
up the wall in front of the room. There were rows of desks with
monitors and ponies and griffons typing furiously on them while
answering phone calls.A stalllion that stood out in particular
because he was in the back observing it all, turned around to
look at the new arrival.
"Foxtrot. This Director Jack Ford." One of the agents said
before returning to his station at a computer.
"Please to meet you. Foxtrot. You have quite the record with
us." Jack cleared his throat. 'I'm sure Colonel Jennings has
told you, we cannot allow you to go home until this is over.
They are already after you."

"Yea. All things considered, I'm surprised they're not storming
this place again." Foxtrot looks around. The room itself stood
apart from most of the complex; at least what he's seen.
"Regardless, it's good to meet you Director. I hope my record
isn't too uh... troublesome I suppose. So what's the next move
Ford?"

"We have a team getting ready to find some information out in
their territory. Meanwhile, our surveillance picked up some news
that might be unsettling to you. There is an ESEA rocket
scientist that they are planning to kidnap, but we also
discovered that... your sister Nivalia is it? She is on their
list as well. We have a team already heading to their location
to pick them up right now.
