Cassidy Tesla "Dr. Valentine"

Still a bit of a work in progress. Some things might change in
the future.
An old picture of a filly sits on her desk. Despite the binders,
books, and crumpled up pieces of paper, it stays on top above
everything else.
Another picture where the glass was shattered sits on an old
shelf. This was of a young mare in a lab coat and goggles. She
was holding up a medal she wore around her neck.
Then there was a mare in the room sitting in her chair in the
darkness. She was just looking at the small flame of a candle.
The mare was young. A frown was on her face as the fire twitched
around. The only sound that filled room was the ticking of a
watch. She glanced at it and stood up and left the room
approaching a room with a window. On the other side was a
stallion that screamed when he saw her trying to crawl
backwards.
The mare looked at him before pulling a lever that caused a
glass bottle within the room to drop. The room was filled with a
purple gas as the stallion screamed. His mouth foamed. When the
gas disappeared however, he was still moving. The mare slammed
her hoof on the ground in frustration and returned to her office
to tear a page off her notebook and toss it in the trash. She
buried her face into her hooves.
�I� I just need more time� please General.� She shivered. She
was responding to a uniformed stallion who trotted in. He put
his arm around her as she shivered more, but leaned into it
calming down.
�You�ll be alright Dr. Valentine� I have a lot of confidence in
you.� He responded handing her a small device. Valentine looked
cautiously up at him before snatching it and putting part of it
in her mouth and taking a huge breath. She shuddered and dropped
the small canister and nodded.

Valentine was one of the most famous scientists in the world.
Well, her name was Cassidy Tesla back then. Even at her time at
the University of Canterlot, she won numerous awards and wrote
some fantastic pieces. Her life changed when she was recruited
by the military. Initially it was on discovering potions and
gases that can help heal soldiers� then that progressed to
helping them boost their performance. The passion and
determination she had ever since she was a filly, allowed her to
quickly produce chemicals that the military used and her
discoveries became widespread across the globe. The PHD grad
felt good. She was giving many presentations at big parties and
meeting all kinds of wonderful ponies. However, organizations
and governments began to push her further, now wanting potions
and gases that harm ponies. Initially she was reluctant, but she
was taken advantage of as she never was one to give up. Her
first deadly gas was produced and shipped to an unknown
organization that used it to quell a rebellion. It only got
worse after that. She was forced to test her prototypes on
ponies she didn�t even know and it drove her insane.Now she
feels nothing when she runs her experiments on whomever they
bring her. A bit later, she strictly began to request stallions
as her test subjects. They began to call her Dr. Valentine from
there on out. At one point, a test went wrong and the gas
reacted unexpectedly and changed the color of her right eye.
Dr. Valentine is still well known and is invited to many
military and political gatherings and parties to present her
latest discoveries. She is still very well known, but many fear
her. She is still young and despite her innocent look, she is
merciless at this point. She goes and obeys where she is hired.
She has many labs hidden around the world, but spend a lot of
her time in Canterlot where she grew up.
Psychological Profile
Dr. Valentine is known to break down a lot when things are not
working properly as intended. She can be seen shivering and
twitching when in her labs. It seems that she has developed some
sort of gas she inhales to calm herself down, though
occasionally she for some reason avoids taking it. She has had
the same neutral expression for a while now and it rarely does
change, though outside of her work she does sometimes show some
emotion. In every one of her offices she keeps a memory from
her life before she lost her mind.
