| Dusk Calibre | |
| By: Dusk Calibre Date: May 9, 2017, 10:45 am | |
| --------------------------------------------------------- | |
| Name: Dusk Calibre, goes by Cali | |
| Race: Unicorn | |
| Gender: Mare | |
| Age: Mid-Twenties | |
| Physical Description: Smaller than the average mare and slightly | |
| fragile-looking, Cali would surprise you with her physical | |
| strength. Her coat is fuchsia, and her mane is shades of black | |
| and dark grey, usually done in a braided updo. Her eyes are a | |
| pale yellow, and her cutie mark is black crosshairs. She is | |
| almost always seen in her wheeled contraption that lifts her | |
| back legs off the ground and allows her to walk. | |
| Special Talent: Ranged weapons manufacturing. Though her | |
| specialty is firearms, she is also capable of making beautiful | |
| and functional bows of all types. She extremely innovative in | |
| her work, and has produced some of the most advanced weaponry on | |
| the market. | |
| Likes: plying her trade, making deals, knowing information she | |
| shouldnt, shooting | |
| Dislikes: ignorance, her limited mobility, high-and-mighty | |
| ponies, pity | |
| Strengths: levitation (due to her work, Cali has very fine-tuned | |
| levitation skills, able to levitate many parts while working, as | |
| well as able to manipulate those parts carefully, quickly, and | |
| precisely), marksmanship, deduction, acting skills, intelligence | |
| Weaknesses: most other magic (she knows some basic shielding | |
| skills, but knows almost nothing of offensive magic), | |
| obsessiveness, can sometimes be so caught up in the details that | |
| she fails to see the big picture, dangerously curious, doesnt | |
| care about the consequences of who she provides with weapons | |
| Fears: being damaged any further, ignorance | |
| Bio: Born to a long line of arms manufacturers and dealers, Cali | |
| was taught the family business at a young age. She was quickly | |
| found to be brilliant and inventive at the job. Her familys | |
| company, Calibre Arms Supply Co., was quite prestigious and had | |
| supplied the Royal Guard with all its weapons for generations. | |
| The company was the middle-pony between those who made weapons | |
| and those who needed weapons, but the companys members often | |
| supplemented their income with manufacturing their own weapons | |
| and selling them to private collectors and security companies. | |
| Calis parents strongly believed that it was their | |
| responsibility to make sure the weapons they sold were put in | |
| the right hooves. Cali never fully agreed with this philosophy, | |
| however. The world had a way of staying balanced through natural | |
| chaos and selection, she believed. There was no harm in selling | |
| weapons to ponies who might not use them for the right | |
| reasons. The world would survive and stay balanced either way. | |
| When Calis parents passed away in an automobile accident when | |
| she was 18, it was her duty as their only child to take over | |
| Calibre Arms Supply Co. She continued to faithfully supply the | |
| Guard with what they needed as well as other interested | |
| parties. As time passed, she gained a reputation in the | |
| underground arms world as nothing less than the best. She grew | |
| reckless in her deals, until one day she finally got in over her | |
| head. After a deal went wrong, she was left alive but with a | |
| bullet in the base of her spine that left her back legs | |
| paralyzed. | |
| Wiser and more wary, Cali continued her work, striking more | |
| deals with various kinds of organizations and quietly developing | |
| more and more dangerous weapons. On the surface, she may have | |
| only dealt in weapons, but her real interest was in | |
| information. Any information she could get her hooves on. | |
| Through her own deductive skills, as well her network of | |
| contacts, she took it upon herself to know everything she could | |
| about the ponies and organizations she provided with weapons. | |
| She carefully guards this information, though she may be tempted | |
| to part with bits and pieces of it for money, weapons, or even | |
| better more secrets. | |
