Rising Sun[/font]
The song by the Animals bring the iconic images of an old New
Orleans house of ill repute to life, but few know about the
song's long history of being ripped off and remade from multiple
sources since it first appeared in the 1500's. The House of the
Rising Sun was actually originally about an English tavern and
house of ill repute that was ran by a Welsh nobleman, Lord Ewein
Dgrd, who's family crest was that of a rising sun. The Dgrd
family had earned their wealth mostly through three inns that
they secretly owned along with owning some of the most fertile
farmland in north Wales. The inns though were far more than
just places of rest. The inns also served as brothels to wealthy
nobles who paid for the services of women who worked and lived
at these inns. They became well known among the poor as places
of debaucherous acts. The inns were referred to as the Rising
Sun House and sung about in two 16th century songs.
As time went on and culture evolved, Dgrd family began
expanding into other trades of criminal activity all while
perfecting their upstanding appearances and expanding their
reach and power. This included marrying with supernaturals and
homo superiors who belonged to foreign noble or crime families
in which a Rising Sun Inn went up everywhere they gained a hook.
Eventually Dgrd family began negotiations with the Triads in
Hong Kong not long after Britain had taken control. Both
organizations saw that they had similar goals and operations
which made the negotiations go smoothly. A marriage was arranged
at the end along with the Dgrd family becoming official
members of the Triads. They became known as Zhāoyng de
Fngzi or House of the Rising Sun because Dgrd means
dawn/sunrise in Old English and the family crest showed is the
symbol of the rising sun.
Today, the House of the Rising Sun has become an international
criminal branch of the Triad with the pure goal of expanding
their influence and power. They've aided in the gaining the
allegiances of other corrupt nobles, politicians, judges, law
enforcement, and even religious figures for decades. This has
helped with their more criminal activities of the Triads. The
Dgrd family range from politicians to simple business owners
of inns. The businesses that host hospitality and entertainment
do so as the Rising Sun Inns, now called House of the Rising
Sun. The Dgrd family calls their branch of the Triads mostly
as Rising Sun.
Rising Sun is searches out and researches potential allies or
rivals with the latest of technologies. They do tolerate other
criminal organizations outside of the Triads but will quickly
defend if provoke or attack in order to expand. When they
attack, they do so through those they have in government and law
enforcement to start with as a warning for the enemy
organization to disband or leave the city. The harassment
eventually turns into straight violent actions against Rising
Sun enemies until their rival/enemy has been eradicated from the
area.

killing, prostitution, illegal gambling, loan sharking,
counterfeiting, Copyright infringement, kidnapping, jewelry and
gems heists, drug trafficking, police corruption, political
corruption, money laundering, arms trafficking, health care
fraud, online fraud
Havens: Rising Sun havens and operations are typically set up in
wealthier areas of cities and industrial areas. If the operation
is in a non-English speaking country, then Rising Sun typical
sets up in an area with the most English speaking people.
Appearances: Most Rising Sun members are of European descent
though many are also of Chinese and European mix descent.
Accepted Races: Any races are accepted as members to Rising Sun
Benefits:
Corrupt Official Protection: Whether through an alliance or
black mail, members have the backing from people in high places
when favors are called in. The higher up in Rising Sun a member
is then the more people in power they have in their pockets. The
top members of Rising Sun usually have a great deal of a city's
corrupt officials in their pockets or under their control. Low
rank members typically have a few officials in their pocket but
also have their superiors in the organization for help if
needed.
Training Regimen: The circumstance in which one develops
incredible abilities through extensive training. The user has
developed incredible abilities by/through an extensive/excessive
training regimen. All members of Rising Sun are required to
train at least twice a week while new recruits go through some
very intense training for their first two years. This is to
unlock the full potential of the member and then push it
farther. Even human members have developed abilities through
Rising Sun's training. This training isn't just physical either.
The training is also mental as well as members are taught all
aspects of the criminal world. Dgrd family members are held to
this very strictly.
Information Gathering: Whether truth or rumor, all Rising Sun
members are experts in gathering information in some form. All
members are taught how to gather what they need to know and how
to go about it. This can include sexual seduction to torturous
interrogation methods. Note: Players are to create skills in
their Skills area of their profiles that are needed for
information gathering.
Global Syndicate: Rising Sun has expanded around the world since
their start back in the 16th century and has a very far reach
for help when needed. Not only do they have cities of their own
but also cities mainly controlled by the allies, the Triad. If a
member calls for help, then some member of Rising Sun or a
different branch of the Triads will come to help.
Upstanding Reputation: Just because Rising Sun members are
criminals means that everyone sees them this way. Rising Sun
isn't seen as a criminal organization so much as global five
star resort/hotel and hospitality company. Lord Dgrd always
preached about maintaining an upstanding appearance by giving
donations, throwing festivals for communities, and other such
good deeds. Members are expected to act in certain ways in
public that makes the member appear and seen as an upstanding
member of society.
Consequences:
Rival Organizations: Rising Sun has enemy organizations that
they will never make alliances with such as the Yakuza, Irish
Mofia, and Italian Mafia. These enemy organizations can tell
when there is the presence of Rising Sun members operating in
their territory and will attack without thinking twice. This can
hamper any operation that a member tries to set up if they don't
do their research on the area first.
