Brilliant. I think you may have given me some new enthusiasm to
sort mine out now. It took five hours for me to get one dust
boot on my brake caliper the other day... Only got another seven
to go

There's something about the 411s when you drive them, as long as
your not in a rush it's like going back to a bygone time when
there wasn't the rush we have nowadays. I love going out first
thing in the morning bright fresh morning no traffic no rush
:). got to say though a 411 short wheelbase with a top speed of
thirty miles per hour and as short a wheelbase at that some
people still struggle to overtake me ! And yet when I'm in the
Black Mog doing sixty miles an hour they try to overtake in the
most ridicules places and when approaching a junction they think
you are doing 25 mph and pull out in front of you.
The thing to do is sod em and enjoy your machine.

By heck bet it doesn't slow down going uphill !! You could put
higher crown wheel and pinion but the short wheel base is very
unstable at higher speeds.
Enjoy

Pressed steal axles not so easy to gear the old girl up, I don't
know a lot about these axles by they are similar to 404 would be
worth doing some research to see if they are different ratio to
the 411. Saying that I wish my 411 went up hills as fast as she
goes down them :D
