I spotted this at the entrance to my work in burton on Trent. |
|
Didn't get a chance to stop and look properly but managed to |
|
grab a pic. Looks very heavily equipped. :-) |

Scorpion ballast levelling machine driven one of those many |
|
years ago, very heavy I don't know how many of them there are |
|
but a rare find. If I remember they were about �250,000 new. |

Bloody hell that's expensive. I wasn't overly impressed with the |
|
trailer build quality tho. Heavy frame work and axles with small |
|
weak looking draw bar. I certainly wouldn't want to carry much |
|
weight on it. |

They were 214 ps engines and it was slow enough without the |

trailer ! |

How come you you have so much knowledge on these things Moose? |
|
Whats your profesion if you dont mind me asking, a heavy |
|
industry mechanic or something of that ilk or just a serious |
|
interest in all things mechanical. |
