I just updated my profile after thinking it would be good for |

members to know the rough location of each other. It doesn't |
|
show on the board though. Is this something that could easily be |
|
changed? |

I can add this, it will mean people will have to add the |

its not a requirement, but you only need to put something like |
|
Yorkshire, or Cambridgeshire etc... |

Exactly. It's the same with firearms forums. Just the town is |
|
plenty good enough, we don't need your postcode and the number |
|
for the combination lock on your workshop! :D |
|
A security note I will mention which many may not know is that |
|
you can often get data for where a photo was taken by right |
|
clicking it. If you take a picture on a camera phone it usually |
|
tags it with a grid reference from the network unless you ask it |
|
not to. It can be accurate to inside 100 yards. That does bug |
|
me! >:( |
