-----
It was early in the morning when a special delivery was made to
those with brilliant scientific minds within the Underground.
They would find a shimmering gold envelope had been slipped
through the gap of the front doors of their homes and their
names written on the fronts of said envelopes in white, eloquent
hand writing. Inside the envelope, the invited monster would
find an off-white parchment paper with neat cursive writing
stretched across it, a silver key and two shiny-new key cards
which looked like they might grant access to a private location.
The letter was an invitation, which read:
Dear ______,
On behalf of my family, I, Elloise Trinity, have heard of your
accomplishments and contributions to Science and have garnered a
great interest in meeting with you. If you are able to meet with
me in Snowdin, I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to
discuss a project of great importance with you which would
benefit substantially to your contribution. Naturally, you will
be awarded a very generous sum to compensate for your time, as
well as funding the entirety of the project, research and
resources you may need in order to make this possible.
I do hope to hear from you soon. Attached you will find details
of location and time of the meeting. Please use the silver key
to unlock the door and make yourself at home in the living room
where I will meet with you - and a few others - shortly.
Kindest Regards,
Elloise Trinity
---
Should they decide to go, they will find that they have been
directed to a simple home in Snowdin with two canine guards at
the front door whom appeared to recognise the invited guests
instantly and allow them to enter the home. Inside the mentioned
living room were a number of chairs, a coffee table with tea,
coffee and biscuts. Lady Trinity was no where to be seen, yet.

I was on my guard, make no mistake there.
With all that's happened recently, I could afford no more
mistakes; So why was I here, then? I knew it was either an
ambush, or a waste of time.
No, that's not right- I was here because my presence was
requested by somebody with high social standing. Whomever this
'Trinity' was, she was quite obviously rather rich. But I was a
royal scientist- Money wasn't usually a problem for me. I've
even heard from the king sometimes that he felt he had too much
money sometimes, though this WAS quite a while ago. The
situation may have changed since then. Nevertheless, I was here
because it felt important. Not for my own gain, I was here
because I was the best at what I did, and I did quite a bit... I
couldn't shake the suspicious feeling about it all, but I was
here nonetheless- Might as well carry through with it now.
In my usual long black trenchcoat (And a less usual white
labcoat under that) I had reached the door, where two canine
guards stood watch- I suspected they had been trained not to be
distracted by sticks or the like, though I had my doubts- I
decided against testing that theory. It wouldn't end well for
anyone. So I found myself entering the living room, sitting down
at the table and taking a sip of the coffee; I instantly
regretted that decision, setting the cup down and pushing it
away from me. Somebody else could have it in my stead, as I
found the taste... less than satisfactory, to say the least.
Thankfully, I had brought several books along with me in my
skelehands, and so I brought one down, turned to the page where
I left off, and began to read, waiting for anybody else to
arrive...

The golden envelope had come as quite a surprise to Dr. Alphys.
She had been up late, studying the two very different DNA
strands she had taken from herself and Link. The latter was
especially interesting to her and she had begun to make
elaborate sketches and diagrams addressing the differences and
complementary structures that fit together all too well with her
own monster DNA.
It was about then that the envelope slipped under her door. At
first Alphys simply ignored the letter : it was probably another
letter from their families, asking how the research was going
and if they had gotten back up from falling down. She couldn't
cope with those letters anymore. It was only when she turned on
a light rather than going by the light of the massive monitor
that she noticed the golden envelope. Curiosity encouraged her
to take a look : it couldn't be from the families, so what was
it? A sense of unease filled her as she read the letter. Should
she go? Who were the other scientific minds? She only knew of
two and as far as she knew one was lost forever and the other
was probably too lazy to show up. Perhaps she was actually
needed... perhaps not though.
It was after an hour of sleep and a few more of pondering that
Alphys arrived, her research clamped tightly in her claws. The
canine guards were acknowledged with a nervous glance by the
doctor and as though to be sure that they would cause her no
harm she brandished the golden envelope before knocking quietly
on the door.

Seeing the golden envelope one of the guards raised a brow and
said gruffly, "If you have the key, you need only to go in."

Alphys nodded and pulled the key from the envelope, which she
then inserted into the door. As she turned it a satisfying click
was heard and she turned the knob, pulling the door open.
However, once she saw what was on the other side she quickly
shut the door again.
Dr. Gaster? When and how had he returned? And why didn't he tell
her? She took a deep breath and then opened the door again,
stepping inside.
"H-Hello Dr. Gaster"

I looked up from the book I was reading to witness a yellow
lizard's arrival- She looked nervous, to say the least. I
quickly memorized the page I was on and closed the book, passing
it back to my extra hands... I still had a tinge of cautiousness
in my voice, that couldn't be helped, but I managed to sound
relatively calm and levelheaded.
"Greetings. Doctor Alphys, isn't it? I take it you're a tad
shocked by my reappearance?... It seems everybody is. The king,
my family, and now you... Nevertheless, I'm here."
I tried the tea, in search of a decent beverage- No such luck. I
ended up putting it back down again after a small sip. The
biscuits were probably of the same quality, so I decided not to
bother trying them- I should have brought my own snacks. The
worst part was that I considered doing just that as I was
preparing everything for my trip here, too. And yet I decided
against it. Gah, I should know better by now.

Haruno fiddled with the envelope in her hand. She was confused
when she received the letter. It spoke of abilities she didn't
believe she had and the only thing that came to mind was what
Hara told her about her young life of bio-engineering among
other things but how did this Trinity lady know? If anything she
was mostly intrigued by this woman's abilities and was very
excited to meet her. She held out her envelop to the dogs when
she reached the destination the note spoke of.
She pulled the tab open to take out one of the keys. She gave a
slight bow to each of the dogs before going to unlock the door.
Once it was opened it creaked until it was open halfway. She
stepped through only to let it go so it would close behind her.
Her eyes immediately landed on the Skeleton sitting on the
couch. So that's where he disappeared too! "Doctor!" She leaped
over the table to hopefully land beside him on the couch. "I
have been worried Doctor. I thought we weren't to leave one
another's side."

"Y-yes, I'm Dr. Alphys." she replied simply. She didn't know
whether or not she should come and sit down next to Gaster so
for a few awkward moments she just... lingered by the door. It
was only after Haruno dashed in and made her way over to sit by
him that she decided that perhaps she should just stand by the
door and wait for whoever had invited them there. She leaned up
against a wall by the door and opened her book to continue
writing about her DNA studies, leaving the Dr and Haruno to
talk.

A few more minutes went by before a voice from another room
called out, "Please Dr Alphys, do sit down and make yourself
comfortable." she insisted before two stern Rottweiler canine
guards armed with battle axes stepped through adn stood either
side of the couch Gaster and Haruno were sitting at. Then an
eloquent Shyren had stepped into the room from around the
corner, her blue hair well brushed and elegantly curled, she
wore a long floor length white gown and a veil covering her
face. Perhaps as a way for her to partially obscure her
complexions since most Shyrens were conscious about their 'scary
faces'? Lady Trinity had then walked all the way to the centre
of the room and stopped a few steps away in front of coffee
table and two more canine guards had entered the room and stood
either side of Trinity - white Alaskan Malamutes with pikes this
time; they looked rather dopey as they looked around rather
excitedly in every direction as they panted. One of them carried
rolls of scrolls and the other carried some kind of a
cylindrical object beneath a silk cloth.
"Thank you all do kindly for taking the time to meet with me
today, and goodness, not that it is surprising but it appears
you two of you have brought some of your works with you. Such
busy lives, I understand, which is all the more I appreciate in
seeing you accepting my invitation and I promise not to waste
much of your precious time. As you may have guessed, I am Lady
Trinity." she introduced, dipping into a short curtsy as she
greeted each of them warmly - albeit her gaze lingered on Alphys
shorter than the other two. She then tilted her head slightly;
she couldn't help but feel that some of them may be feeling on
edge or rather cautious.
'Maybe it was how I organized the meeting?' she thought to
herself innocently. Then she had come to another conclusion.
"Oh heavens, boys-" she addressed her guards, "Away with the
weapons please. They will not be needed here and we certainly
wouldn't want our honored guests to feel threatened."
The Malamutes looked to each other before disappearing into
another room and returned without their hand-held weapons. One
of the Rottweilers looked confused and spoke up, "But, er,
milady you said-"
"-I know what I said. This is what I am saying now. Away with
the weapons. I am confident that no one here would start any
Ruffian-nonsense." Trinity interjected. Soon after the
Rottweilers complied, bowing their heads briefly before
disappearing into the same room the Malamutes did and returned
to where they were standing unarmed. She then clapped her hands
twice and one of the Malamutes disappeared into the room again
and retrieved a rather elaborately decorated arm chair for the
Shyren to sit on the opposite side of the coffee table to Gaster
and Haruno currently.
"Now then," she continued as she poured herself a cup of tea;
held it with her right hand whilst she gently placed her left
hand to her cheek bashfully, "I'm not sure what could possibly
help you all to feel more comfortable so if there is anything
more I could do need only say the word."
The Shyren glanced at the clock briefly before letting out a
soft sigh, "It seems we are one scientist short today. Alas,
given his reputation it may have been for the best, as I need
absolute dedication to completing this project and not give up
half-way through it all. Anywho, before I get straight to
business, do any of you have any questions which I may be able
to answer before proceeding?"

Alphys was going to say that she felt perfectly at home standing
over by the door but the gazes of the rottweiler guards that
looked ready to enforce anything Trinity wanted made her decide
that perhaps she should go sit over by the others. Alphys simply
chose to occupy a regular desk chair, dragging another one over
next to it to use as a makeshift bench (she prefered to keep her
current study free of food stains) before she clambered onto the
former chair. After that she then continued to listen to Lady
Trinity. She stayed quiet even after the Shyren had given them
permission to ask for anything. Though this monster was quite
obviously in the dough she wasn't about to exploit that for the
sake of her comfort. Instead she simply shook her head from side
to side and remained silent.
