Olga's Gifts (RP scene)
By: Dragons Den Date: February 15, 2015, 2:17 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
This scene takes place just after the last magazine was released
for Open Fight Night. So, it's current! Thanks for reading. :)
* * *
Olga Kurylenko was all smiles as she waltzed into the Dragons
Den facility and right up to the training cages, carrying a
large bag.
New recruit Blanca Suarez was inside one cage, sparring with
fellow FAC rookie Samantha Hoopes. Caroline Wozniacki and Briana
Evigan stood nearby the cage, watching intently.
Blanca was being peppered with Sams quick jabs as Caroline
rapidly shouted orders. Woz barely seemed to take notice of Olga
as she strode up alongside the girls. But, Briana noticed and
gave her a funny look.
Not like you to take in the sights, Briana said with an
eyebrow raised in Olgas direction.
Olga smiled. Hi Briana, nice to see you too. I realised I
forgot to give you your Christmas present.
Suddenly Carolines words stopped and she and Bri both shot Olga
confused looks.
Olga removed two neatly wrapped presents from her bag and handed
one to Briana, and another to Caroline. I forgot yours as well,
Caroline. Sorry theyre late. But, you know, theyre worth it.
Brianas face was giving a definite ten on the scepticism scale.
Are these letter bombs?
Of course not, Olga snapped. Im standing next to you. That
would be stupid. Open them.
The two confused fighters cautiously unwrapped their respective
gifts as Olga stood by smugly.
The discarded paper soon revealed the same gifts for Bri and
Woz. They were copies of the latest TKO magazine, and there on
the front cover, was Olgas lovely face. And they were
autographed.
Um thanks, Caroline managed.
Briana laughed. What the? Oh, very funny, Olga. Well done.
Olga was grinning unabashedly. I thought you girls would like
it. Its me! I made the cover when I won the title.
Yes, thank you, Olga Briana said rolling her eyes. We know
you won the title.
Did you know I am only the second Dragon fighter to make
cover? Olga asked proudly. You havent even done it,
Caroline.
I did it before I was at the Den, Caroline said flatly.
Olga shrugged. Oh, me too, long time ago. But since the Den
exists, only me and McAdams have done this. Cool, no?
Caroline did not look impressed. Sure, real cool.
Olga, youre a jerk, Briana said.
You dont like the presents? So ungrateful, Olga said with a
huff.
Suddenly Adele Exarchopoulos appeared next to Olga. She was
proudly toting a copy of the magazine. Are you kidding? This is
the greatest volume of TKO ever!
Caroline shot a quick look at Briana who just rolled her eyes.
Ill admit, pushed Bri, its lack of a certain young groupie
was definitely a plus.
Me? Youre referring to me? Adele asked incredulously.
If the horns fit, Caroline added.
Adele is no groupie, Olga interjected. She is next FAC
Lightweight champion.
Really? Caroline asked. When?
Soon, Adele added. Itll probably be our fourth title.
Youre assuming well keep the ones we have, Briana said
pointedly towards Olga moreso than Adele.
Oh, right, said Olga. Caroline might lose hers next FAC
event.
If I lose mine, well be down to one, wont we Olga? Caroline
pushed.
Your math is bad, Olga deflected.
Maybe she thinks Rachel is going to lose hers, Adele quipped.
Oh, thats a terrible thing to say, Olga smirked at Caroline.
What kind of teammate are you?
Carolines temper flared. Do you want to get in the cage and
find out?
Briana grabbed at Carolines arm and shook her head lightly.
Not necessary. Even Olgas not arrogant enough to think she
could win that one.
How about you and me then, Briana? Adele challenged.
Gee, well done Olga, you have really rubbed off on this one,
Caroline frowned.
That must be why she keeps winning, Olga smirked.
Briana crossed her arms and stared right through Adele.
Arrogance must be contagious. As much as Id love to put you in
your place, Im going to ignore you instead and help some humbly
talented fighters. With that, Bri turned her attention to the
cage where Blanca and Sam continued sparring, and Caroline
followed suit.
Adele blushed a little and looked offended, but said nothing,
while Olga shook her head. I have gifts to give to people that
appreciate real talent, Olga said before turning away from
Briana and Caroline. Adele followed, leaving Bri and Woz alone
by the cage again.
I almost wish you had accepted that, Caroline told Bri with a
wink.
Bri shrugged. Would have been fun for a minute, but then itd
be tears and anger and more challenges. Thats not what were
here for.
Caroline smiled, almost laughing. You have changed. Old Bri
would have b*tch-slapped them both and dragged Adele into the
cage before she had even thought to challenge you.
Bri laughed. Yeah, you can probably blame Sophs for that.
Blame, or thank? Caroline questioned. She has made you soft
outside the cage, not in it. Caroline rattled on the cage with
one fist and the two fighters inside stopped. She gave Briana
one last smile. Get in there and show Blanca a couple of
things, I need to have a word with Sam.
Bri glanced up and gave Blanca an encouraging wink as she waited
patiently in the cage for orders while Sam hopped out to meet
with her mentor as if on cue. Bri then left the two heavyweights
to chat as she stepped into the cage to face Blanca.
Okay my fair Spanish lady, lets tango.
Blanca gave a funny look. Tango is Argentinian.
Briana shrugged. So whats a Spanish dance?
Flamenco, Blanca answered.
I didnt bring my castanets, Bri joked.
Castanets is for fandango dance. Not usually castanets in
flamenco, said Blanca.
Bri smirked. You know what? f*ck it, lets just fight.
And so they did.

How about that Bri? Keeping the greater good in mind.
How about that Olga? Keeping... Olga in mind. :P
And mini-Olga is now in full bloom. How lovely for the Den.
I wish Olga had accepted Woz's offer. THAT I would pay money to
see. ;)

Haha! Thanks Richelle. :)
Yeah, 'cause if there's one thing we need it's a mini-Olga... As
if Olga isn't enough.
I think Olga may have accepted if it wasn't for Bri's sense and
mini-Olga's blind arrogance interceding. Let's hope Woz and Olga
don't (or maybe do?) find themselves alone in a cage. Bri better
keep an eye out. As if she's not already busy!
