How to post images in the forum using Imgur

Hello, friends.
I have noticed lots and lots of broken links to images in the
forum. Please read this and post your images according to it.
If I see a broken link, I will delete that post. It makes the
forum look bad. Plus I really doubt new members what to go into
a thread and see this over and over again

I know it's an extra few steps but it's the way it needs to be
done. Plus just copying and pasting an image is stealing
bandwith from someone else and we don't want to do that.
With Imgur, you can either upload an image you have stored in
your PC or an image from the internet.
The simplest way to upload images on Imgur is to click the "New
post" button at the top of the page, which can be found in the
header on all Imgur pages. From there you can click on "browse"
to find images stored on your device. You can also drag and drop
your images directly to the pop-up modal.
However, if you're a fan of drag and drop, you can also drag and
drop any image to the home page from your desktop or download
bar in your browser.
Once you have uploaded your images, you can add a title,
descriptions under your image(s), and hover over them for more
options.
If you do hover, you'll see options:
Edit image: If you need to crop, rotate, add text, or edit that
image, now's your chance! Learn more here.
Get share links: Looking for HTML or BBCode? This is where
you'll find it!
You will need the BBCode, if you wish to post the image in the
forum.
Unfortunately, twitter only shows up as a link. They hope to add
an embed option soon.
Instagram and Youtube can will show up normally when you post
the url of the image or video you wish to share.

Angel, Thank you for this helpful post.�I mostly access forum on
my mobile. For posting pics, I have tried pasting BBC forum code
but it does not work. I usually paste Direct Link from Imgur in
my post editor. Am I doing it right?

have just learned
how to do this today -- so I will try to help. When you upload
an image on imgur, move your mouse cursor over the top right of
the uploaded image. A drop down arrow will appear. Click on the
drop down arrow and select Share links from it. Copy the BBCode
link and post it in your editor. That will work.

at the bottom, I see the screenshot of the imgur screen embedded
in the post.
