	he series is notorious by the well-known
	character\'s names - Zeynep, Cihan, Demet, Bar??, Melda

	he series tell us the story about the
	mother and daughter that are forced to leave their modest life
	behind and start the new one moving to Istanbul.<br>
	his is the
	story about the secrets, the unrequited loves, the ugly traps,
	the broken dreams and the unexpected close
	relations.<br><br>
	emet is a sacrificial woman which is both
	the mother and the father to the girl named Zeynep. The girl�s
	main feature is the ability to run very fast. They live at the
	place called G�lyaz?. The mother�s business destroys and it
	turns the things upside down.<br><strong>Demet\'s</strong>
	<em>(thanks Snicko )</em> old friend named Jale, the woman with
	her own secrets, offers her help and invites the mother and the
	daughter to her house.<br>
	eynep doesn�t want to leave, she
	likes to sit on a tree next to the lake and talk to the spirit
	of her father which she considers a sailor that has been lost in
	the sea many years ago. Demet prefers to hide the truth about
	the father (which she actually also doesn�t know in total) from
	the daughter.<br>
	he mother gets on a bus, the bus starts. At
	the meantime Zeynep is sitting on the tree. With the help of her
	father�s words she changes her mind, runs after the bus and
	manages to catch up the bus.<br>
	hey come to Istanbul. Jale
	sends Zeynep to the most prestigious private colledge (�zel
	Sayer Koleji) where she is a director.<br>
	n her mind that�s
	all the payment for the mistake she has made many years
	ago.<br>
	he sportsman named Cihan also works at the college. He
	has a daughter named Melis which studies there also and a wife
	named T�lin which is currently the series actor.<br>
	e is
	Zeynep�s father, but he has no idea of her existence. He is
	asked by the director Jale to keep an eye on Zeynep as a
	talented spostsman.<br>
	is daughter Melis sympathizes with the
	�school king� named Kerem. He has his own �gang� which is
	chosing the victim for the childish games at the edge of
	dangerous.<br>
	n her first day at school Zeynep accidentally
	breaks one of those �games�. Kerem wants the apologies but the
	girl disagrees and Kerem decides to take revenge. Most of the
	school children take part in that too, together with Melis that
	is not pleased with her father�s interest towards
	Zeynep.<br>
	erem is actually a lonely boy the mother of which
	is engaged by business and the father of which is in depression
	after losing his older son. He�s fond of painting but the only
	one he can show his works to is his best friend Bar??.<br>
	ar??
	is also one who tries to help Zeynep, and he�s actually in love
	with Melis (which is in fact Zeynep�s sister) but he�s too shy
	to approach her. He dreams to become a famous basketball player
	but, as he sais, \"not number one but number two\".<br>
	t the
	meantime Zeynep�s mother Demet starts to work at the fashion
	house owned by Jale�s sister Melda. There she meets one of the
	clients � Cihan�s wife. Later she has to come to their
	house.<br>
	he woman is sure that Cihan has left her on knowing
	about her pregnancy, but somehow the letter where she informs
	him about that and asks for help is in Jale�s hands.<br>
	eynep
	is being set another trap at school but she doesn�t give up and
	desides to stay at school no matter what.<br><br>
