Russia Starts Sea Trials For Its Newest Nuclear Submarine |
Signal To NATO Amid Ukraine War?
Russia has denied Ukrainian reports that Moscows
missiles struck residential areas in Odesa early on July 1.
Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, reiterated Russia claim that
their special operation doesnt involve targeting civilians.
Death toll due to alleged Russias missile strikes on Ukraine's
southern Odesa region has now risen to 19. Meanwhile, 8 people
have died after a Russian missile allegedly struck a residential
building in Ukraines southern city of Mykolaiv. Moscow has told
Ukrainian teachers in occupied territories to switch to teaching
the Russian school curriculum. Former Russian spy, Sergey
Zhirnov, claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin could use
nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Belarus President Alexander
Lukashenko told Russia that he is awaiting nuclear warheads to
be stationed on his soil. Ukraine's President, Prime Minister
and Parliaments speaker have signed a declaration of intent to
join EU.

Nuclear Submarine Belgorod Enters Putin's Navy Amid Ukraine War
l Russia's Message To US-NATO?
Just days after retreating from Snake Island in the Black
Sea, the Russian navy has got a nuclear boost. Amid a grinding
war in Ukraine, the Russian navy has reportedly acquired
Russias largest submarine, built in 40 years. President Putin
has bolstered the Russian navy with K-329 Belgorod, capable of
carrying nuclear-powered long-range torpedoes. What makes the
giant Belgorod special? What is Poseidon nuclear torpedo? Will
Putin rule the Black Sea with his nuclear submarines?

UN nuclear watchdog says missing Libya uranium found
CAIRO (AP) U.N. inspectors visiting southern Libya
found drums containing natural uranium reported missing earlier
this month in the chaos-stricken country, the U.N. nuclear
watchdog said Saturday.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said earlier this month
that some 2.5 tons of natural uranium stored at a site in the
southern town of Sabha had gone missing. Forces of the Libyan
commander Khalifa Hifter said they found the missing material
close to the storage site.
In a statement to The Associated Press on Saturday, the
Vienna-based agency said U.N. inspectors visited the area on
March 21 and saw the material being transferred to the storage
site.
U.N. inspectors found that a relatively small amount of UOC
(Uranium ore concentrate) was still unaccounted for, it said.
The IAEA said, however, there was no immediate radiological risk
at the location.
The statement said investigations were still underway on the
matter including reconciling the quantities of natural uranium
at the site with those previously verified by the IAEA.
Hiroshima Survivor Slams G7 Leaders for Embracing War &
Rejecting Nuclear Disarmament
The G7 summit wrapped up Sunday in Hiroshima, where much
of the summit focused on the war in Ukraine and China. While in
Japan, President Biden and other world leaders paid tribute to
the victims of the world's first nuclear attack the U.S.
bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 laying wreaths at the
Hiroshima Peace Memorial and planting a tree. But President
Biden did not issue an apology for the attack, which killed an
estimated 140,000 people and seriously injured another 100,000.
For more, we speak with Setsuko Thurlow, who survived the U.S.
bombing of Hiroshima in 1945 and devoted her life to nuclear
disarmament. In 2017, she was chosen to accept the Nobel Peace
Prize on behalf of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear
Weapons.
Hiroshima | Amanpour and Company

United States had no other option than to drop the atomic bombs
on Japan.
"Three Times More Powerful" | Putin Ally Lukashenko Threatens
Belarus Will Use Russian Nukes If...
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko claims his
country is taking the delivery of Russian tactical nuclear
weapons. Lukashenko claims some of the nukes are 3 times more
powerful than the atomic bombs the US dropped on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki in 1945. Lukashenko claimed Belarus has several nuclear
storage facilities from the Soviet-era and has restored five or
six of them. Meanwhile, Lukashenko contradicted Putin, warning
he would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons if Belarus faces
attacks. The Belarusian President said he had the facilities to
host longer-range missiles as well, if ever needed.

Putin is 'blackmailing all of us': Ukrainian ambassador to UK

Rightist\pro-Russian comments:
Putin recently did a 3 hour press conference, talked to
everyone...can you imagine Joe doing that?😂

"We are losing people left and right" Ukrainian
ambassador to London, Vadim Prystaiko. For some strange
coincidence sons of Mr. Prystaiko are living in Belgium and
don't want to die for Zelenskyy. Meanwhile Zelenskyy is
officially conscripting even disabled. In WaPo article "On front
lines of Ukraine counteroffensive, soldiers pay heavy price" by
Samantha Schmidt and Serhii Korolchuk, Ukrainian soldier
described this last Zelenskyy offensive in this way: There were
fewer than 50 men in the unit, and 30 did not return they were
killed, wounded or captured by the enemy. All five of the units
armored vehicles were destroyed within the first hour. We were
shelled with mortars from three sides. We couldnt do anything.
In the first 10 days of this long-awaited offensive Zelenskyy
managed to waste dozens of tanks (including cutting-edge German
Leopard 2A6s) and hundreds of armored vehicles (including
Bradley) along with 7 500 of hapless Ukrainian conscripts on
the mine fields, hit by Russian artillery or anti-tank missiles
without even getting to the first main line of Russian defense.
Adding insult to injury Russians captured Leopard 2A6 and
Bradley. Ukrainian army has always been poorly led and marred by
political interference and pervasive corruption, but now when it
lost almost all experienced soldiers every Zelenskyy operation
turns into a wholesale slaughter of Ukrainian conscripts like in
Bakhmut.
