The Tactical Defense Institute offers a class called "field
medicine". Here is their description.
"An intensive, practical approach to fundamental concepts,
conducted within the framework of BLS (Basic Life Support) and
TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care), and reinforced with
hands-on exercises geared toward basic airway maintenance,
hemorrhage and pain control, peripheral IV/IO placement,
splinting, suturing, positioning, immobilization, and ground/air
transport. Emphasis will be placed on recognition and management
of immediate life threats. The student will be exposed to a
variety of scenarios, techniques, equipment and supplies, and
begin to develop a medical kit, tailored to their own
situation."
I personally have taken a few gun training classes here and they
are top notch. Very professional and helpful. I'm planning on
taking this class this year.
