This course is based on current PHTLS / TCCC Guidelines on the |
|
management of preventable Battlefield Death, and is taught by |
|
seasoned Paramedics and EMTs with experience in Tactical and |
|
Remote / Austere settings. |

Day 1: Classroom Lecture. |

Day 2: Skill Labs and Scenario Training. |
|
Topics covered include: The Three Phases of Tactical Combat |
|
Casualty Care, Safe casualty movement and extrication |
|
techniques, Hemorrhage Control with Tourniquets, Pressure |
|
Bandages, wound packing with Hemostatic Agents, Airway |
|
Management using an airway adjunct and suction, management of |
|
Tension Pneumothorax, special patient populations in Trauma |
|
(Pediatric, Geriatric and K9 Patients) and much, much more (Full |
