Tips for Passing as Male: The Sticky |

Feel free to contribute to this thread, |

This thread is a directory of tips for passing as male that have |
|
worked for you. This rule is so that we only include tips that |
|
TT members have proven to work. |
|
My quick list: |
|
1. Stay thin. I find that the bigger I am, the less often I |
|
pass. |
|
2. Unless you've got a good binder, avoid tight shirts. |
|
3. Sadly, there is no way to bind your hips, so refer to 1. |
|
4. If everybody in your area knows you well 'as a girl', dye |
|
your hair. Choose a natural colour if you don't want to look |
|
blatantly trans. |
|
5. Observe your male relatives/housemates/friends and take their |
|
cues for things like posture and mannerisms. Failing that, take |
|
a look at good male actors. |
