The future after NT 18! |

To start, it is with remorse that To-DoOS NT 18 will not be the |
|
version that finally ports To-DoOS NT to mobile. We still want |
|
this, but we will not give an ETA, but with the Electron |
|
transition will hopefully open up a path towards iOS and Android |
|
(and mabe linux [emoji1586]) |
|
Now, onto To-DoOS NT 18: |
|
To-DoOS NT 18 development is going well and we have adapted well |
|
to Electron. Those of you who have tested the Official Beta 1 |
|
will know this. Now to begin, we are redesigning settings, which |
|
has been in use since To-DoOS NT 14 and just doesn't fit the |
|
newer design language. The new settings app will integrate |
|
multiple pages into one, making development easier. This will |
|
feature in Beta 2. Now for the Final Release date: March 1st. 1 |
|
year after the original release date. |
|
Now, onto the future: |
|
To-DoOS NT 18 is very exciting. However, we have to discuss the |
|
future. Our next 3 major releases are being planned, Codename |
|
Daytona, Codename Fusion, and Codename Etiroad! These releases |
|
are in the early planning stages, but the release window for |
|
Daytona is June-July 2024, Fusion in October-November 2024, and |
|
Etiroad in January-February 2025. We already have some ideas. |
|
iOS and Android support is obviously one we want. We are also |
|
looking into a Terminal Redesign. That is about it for now. Stay |
|
tuned for the Mid month conference, where we will announce more |
|
information about the release of To-DoOS NT 18 and further |
|
information about To-DoOS NT Codename: Daytona and we will also |
|
provide an update on To-DoOS for Education as well (its not |
|
cancelled, it was shelved for a long time. Stay tuned). That is |
|
everything for today. Stay tuned. |
