Jushin Liger to work more WWE shows? |

Japanese wrestling legend Jushin �Thunder� Liger is expected to |
|
work more dates for WWE after making his debut for the company |
|
at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn this past weekend. According to the |
|
latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an unnamed wrestling |
|
promoter attempted to book Liger for a few upcoming shows in the |
|
United States but was told WWE has already booked him for those |
|
dates. |
|
On this week�s episode of NXT, Tyler Breeze said that he�s not |
|
done with Liger, another indication that we�ll be seeing him |
|
back in NXT soon. |
|
It�s possible that Liger will be working for WWE & NXT with a |
|
deal similar to Samoa Joe�s, where he�s still able to wrestle |
|
for other promotions (mainly New Japan Pro Wrestling). |
|
Liger working for WWE while under contract with New Japan Pro |
|
Wrestling is an unprecedented move for WWE and a sign that the |
|
company is changing its mentality of working with competing |
|
promotions. Industry insiders have observed that NJPW working |
|
with WWE in this capacity is not a good sign for Ring of Honor, |
|
which has been exchanging talent with New Japan over the past |
|
several years. |
