Are WWE Going In To A New Era ?
By: tnafan Date: June 8, 2015, 11:54 am
---------------------------------------------------------
The "Attitude Era" was arguably the best time in WWE history. It
provided anything a Wrestling Fan could want out of Wrestling.
Many fans argue that since that time wrestling has and never
will be that good again. However, I have some reasons why I
think WWE is well on the way to another attitude era.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion! I'm not saying that WWE is going
to be raunchy and uncensored like back in the day. I'm just
saying that story lines and characterization are Improving. So
if you don't like it shut up
1
Jumping Ships!
Great Part of the attitude era was seeing wrestlers who had a
degree of stardom in other promotions have success in WWF.
Examples of this were Chris Jericho and the Radicalz.
WWE today has aquired a lot of stars from other promotions like
Kevin Steen Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe. And rumors are we maybe
seeing so many more. With the unpredictablity of debuts, that's
on reason WWE may have another attitude era
Pride of Samoa
In the attitude era, The Rock was one of that era's biggest and
Brightest stars. Some would argue The Rock wasn't the best in
the ring , but, he was pushed to the greatness he is today.
Roman Regins isn't the best we know that. However, he continues
to be pushed to the moon. I believe that WWE is trying to make
another "Great one" in that of Roman Regin
Hand Picked Champion
The "Face of WWE" isn't a title WWE just adopted today.
Storylines in which the higher ups hand pick a champion was a
huge part of the Attitude era. The corporation wanted a star who
looked the part and would do "what's best for business" and at
that time, Triple H fit the bill.
Full circle and now HHH is in charge and he adopted the same
morals as daddy in law had. He has a hand picked champion in
Seth Rollins. A pretty boy, long haired, cheating champion.
Side note, The comparisons between HHH and Rollins can be made
even more because they both came from a Rebellious faction in DX
and The Shield. Huh.
Corporate Control
One of the biggest parts of the attitude era was the
Corporation's power over everyone else. They were the bullies in
the back who controlled superstars like puppets. The same can be
said today. The Coporation lead by Vince McMahon and the
Authority lead by Triple H are mirrors of eachother as they do
whatever it takes to win, hire hands to do their dirty work, and
destroy anyone who stands in their way

Last reason for me is
5
Honorable Mentions
Tag Team Divison Stepping up.
King of The Ring returns.
Divas Division
Darkness falls: The Undertaker & Bray Wyatt
The Stooges: Paterson & Brisco vs. Noble & Mercury.
6
Rebels without a Cause
Nothing better than a crazy person who can do whatever they want
whenever they want.
In the Attitude Era, Stone Cold did things we wish we could do
to our bosses. He was the most entertaining character on Raw
because he was unpredictable. The only thing you knew the
Raddlesnake would do is kick some ass.
Now we got the Lunatic Fridge Dean Ambrose. Who is in my opinion
the most entertaining character today in WWE. Like Stone Cold,
Ambrose rise has been quick, and the people love Ambrose. But
all Dean Loves is beating the hell out of people and raging
against the machine.
Austin and Ambrose lead the world in a war against injustice.
And they both are bringing some "Attitude"to their Eras (see
what I did there

different stars . Not all the same guys

Divas Division? You mean that joke of a division where we
literally have Paige, Natty, Naomi & Alicia who can actually
wrestle and the rest is made up of "models"
