Old technology left behind

Reading this article made me feel old, the good old days of the
Sony Walkman, VCR, CRT TV's and more

I tell you kids these days don't know they are born! I've often
thought if things were better 20+ years ago. !

i remember back in late 1994, i had bought my second car which
had a cassette player in it. I spent hours crafting a small box
filled with foam cushioning to allow my technics cd player to
sit on the seat without skipping during songs. This was then
hooked up to the tape deck via a 3.5 mm jack plug in the cd
player headphone socket which ran to a tape you put in the
tapedeck.
How cool was i cruising round with music on CD? Probably not
very, as nowadays i have 20 times the amount of songs, on a 1cm
x 1cm USB stick. ;D
I still think Boom Boxes were **** hot though, in the early 90's
i would hang out in the local town on a night listening to some
awesome music on an assortment of kick ass equipment.
