The story of Lilith |
|
As the legend goes; |
|
Lilith was the first wife of Adam. But when the time |
|
had come for sex, she refused to go beneath~ �Adam�~ and |
|
therefore be in a submissive position. �We were created together |
|
�she proclaimed. Refusing she screamed the unmentionable name |
|
of God, and flew away. GOD sent three angels to reason with her. |
|
Still refusing, Lilith threatens to kill all new born children |
|
of Adam. Finally she compromises with the 3 angels, if the |
|
children wear an amulet of these {3} angels, then Lilith will |
|
not harm that child. With this compromise in place, Lilith was |
|
never to return to her husband. |
