Upgrading to a new tank

Hi everyone!
So I'm a couple of weeks away from upgrading my current 55
gallon tank to 300 gallon tank (96"x24"x30") and I'm just a
little excited plus a lot of anxiety to go with it. I'm
planning on cycling the new tank using Seachem Stability and I
was thinking about getting a number of tiger barbs to help get
the cycle going? I'm reluctant to use any filter material from
my current tank because I unfortunately ended up with MTS in my
55 gallon and I don't want any part of them in my new tank.
Assuming that strategy is sound my next question has to do with
introducing my current cichlids to the new tank. I know as you
change the bioload you need to give the filter a chance to catch
up. Am I safe using Stability daily with the tiger barbs and
then do I want to slowly introduce the cichlids or do I pull out
the tiger barbs and introduce the cichlids all at once? If I do
stagger out the introduction do I move the oldest, largest fish
first since they are likely the most robust? My concern with
that is then introducing the smaller fish still growing out once
the big boys take hold of their territory (then again I have a
lot more real estate than I did in the past ;D)
Any advice from people that have made a big move like this
before would be greatly appreciated!!

If your using Stability, and you follow the directions on the
bottle, you won't need Tigerbarbs.
Congrats on the upgrade!
