| I found a lima at a local fish store and couldn't pass it up. | |
| I've read about these fish online plenty but never seen one in | |
| person. This fish is awesome. He's(or she????) swims around | |
| more then any other catfish I have ever owned. He likes to swim | |
| vertically and will hold it just under the surface for about 10 | |
| seconds then swim down and do it all over again. Its really | |
| cool to watch. I cant wait to see him at full size. Anyone | |
| ever had one? Very happy to own such a neat fish. | |

| It is a cool catfish! Personally, I think this guy is one of the | |
| few shovelnose cats that is really suitable for a home aquaria | |
| than the other giant shovelnoses you see out there. Tiger | |
| Shovelnose, Juruense, Tigrinus, Caprapetum, Piraiba... need I | |
| say more? Lol. :D | |
