|
he is about 4 inch |
|
He is fast grower like oscar when I see his growth rate :) |

Awesome!! I bought my first But :o over 20 years ago!! My |

friends all had poo poo Convicts and I wanted something similar |
|
but that could beat the crap out of their sissy Convicts lol. |
|
I had a customer bring one in to the shop about a year ago that |
|
was over 12", he was a MONSTER!! I wish I could have kept him |
|
but he was a loner and I really didn't want to tie down a shop |
|
tank with just one fish. I sold him to a customer for $60 and he |
|
put him in his own 90 gallon tank. He is thriving (and of coarse |
|
tearing up EVERYTHING in the tank lol). |

This one is an a 10 ft x 3 h x 2.5 w, and thinks his a convict |
|
(very peaceful), there is a much smaller female in the tank but |
|
no luck breeding however the tank is full of other med-large |
|
american cichlids. |
|
These guys were everywhere at one stage however are down to a |
|
known 20 or so fish, so the price is up atm. females rarely if |
|
never sold with males fetching $200-300. (if not more) |

i keep a breeding pair in my 6ft tank |
|
if things get out of hand i move one into my south american tank |
|
once its back up and running |
|
here is a video sorry its poor quality i was recording at night |
|
with only a blue light turned on. |
|
i think they are fantastic cichlids and hopefully i get them |
|
breeding for me one of the days. |
