PH GH KH Question Cycling Question |

I am in the process of cycling my tank. I am 5 days into the |
|
fishless process. My ammonia reads 0.50 ppm. Nitrites are at |
|
zero ppm. My nitrates are at 5.0 ppm. Is it time to do a 30% |
|
water change to get the nitrates down? In addition, I have a GH |
|
reading of 161.1 and a KH above 200. My KH was 13 drops. Are my |
|
GH and KH within the norm? I thought the GH was a little low. I |
|
have a constant PH of 8.4. Thanks for your help. |
