Some Glamis videos from 11-14-2015

My quad and another buddies Quadzilla ran great out there. Lots
of soft sand, razors, and some huge witches eyes out there.
These videos are from the Keyhole area, south of China Wall,
around Hills 6 (The Wall) and 7 (The Ceiling).

Where will you be at for Thanksgiving? I'm going to be down at
Gordons Well with another Zilla pilot.

I wish. I'm sitting here in Iowa visiting family right now. 5
degrees with a little snow on the ground and icy roads. Trying
for New Years for the next trip. We are in the washes on
Holiday weekends and try for somewhere on Gecko Road on off
weekends.
Give us a report of Gordons riding. Seems the new closures have
really hit that area hard.
Have fun and be safe.

I'll let you know. I know that they opened up several thousand
acres but closed down several hundred in a different area. The
sand highway from the drag strip to the Patton Valley turn-off
is now closed so it's gonna be more of a dune ride to get to
Patton Valley now.

Yep exactly... heard the rangers can be a PITA down around dune
buggy flats. Good luck and have fun!

Well I went out to ride with some friends & had a blast. The
weather was beautiful and even though it was a busy holiday
weekend, the dunes were not all torn up. PCS brought his crazy
fast LTR-450 out to the drags & promptly delivered a$$ whoopin
after a$$ whoopin. I even had time to ride my little ATC around
a bit. Hopefully I'll be able to come back out 1 or 2 more times
before Christmas & New Year.
All the little bugs that I had during the zillathon at the
beginning of November were addressed & my bike worked flawless.
I didn't lean too hard on my motor though as it already has a
bunch of hours on the top end. The LTR front suspension &
narrowed lower frame rails really made a difference in the
handling of the bike. I know it's not an easy modification to do
but certainly worth it if you have the time, energy and patience
to do it.
Now I get to pull the engine & bring it back to the shop for
some refreshening & to try a new combination of parts.
