I've been making these for a bit now, sold a handful so far with
very positive results.
This part fits all production years 2006 and up. It is
constructed of carbon fiber, Raw, un-coated, natural finish.
Pure carbon fiber construction, no fillers. Part has a thickness
of 17 Layers carbon fiber. Very Very strong. The multiple layer
build adds enormous strength and shear resistance in the event
of a chain derailment. It is designed to absorb energy from a
thrown chain before it reaches the engine case. The weave
pattern is a very popular 2x2 twill 3k style known for superior
strength and excellent aesthetic qualities. Shown next to the
factory case saver to show size. This case saver will
accommodate a plus one front sprocket. The mounting dowels are
fused to the back side of the case saver for correct install
location on the center of the chain. Included are the Stainless
Steel Button-head fasteners for installation.
