I read all five before getting around to starting the series. |

I found the TV series first when it was two seasons in and then |
|
read all the books. I am eagerly waiting for the next book in |
|
the series and enjoy the uniqueness of the situation in that |
|
both are a work in progress and one influences the development |
|
of the other. e.g. GRRM said that he liked Osha in the TV show |
|
and has written more of her in the forthcoming books. |
