Who would you be?

I think most of us live out our fantasies by taking on game
personas we would want in Game of Thrones. So, who would you be
if you were a character?
I don't like to be hot, which is why the North would be my home
(As a Southerner, this is a conflict). Naturally, I'd travel, as
I have in real life, to experience all the Realm has to offer.
If it was possible, my family would be House Mormont because
the women are tough and given opportunities to fight and support
their family in ways they aren't in other houses. That is one
of my disappointments; that the women of House Mormont, who were
staunch supporters of King Robb, are not portrayed in the show.
Not to mention that two main characters, Ser Jorah and Lord
Commander Jeor Mormont, have important roles. Oh well, such is
adaption from novel to TV/Film life.
I wouldn't mind being a Martell, but Dorne is hot.

Well, I'd like to be a Stark. Not for the cold, but because
their sigil is awesome. Just kidding; it's more than that.
They're some of the more interesting in my opinion, which is why
I liked the first book and season the most. Ned was my favorite
character until his death.
Despite having a high risk of being killed, I would still gladly
take on their name.

Most of the Great Houses seem to be lacking in family members
except for the Tyrells and Lannisters.

I don't think House Martell is lacking family members... all
those Sand Serpents... ;)
I know, I know... they're not Martell by name, but still... 8)

Yeah, I considered that and their very liberal lifestyle. But
decided to just include the legitimate births. I mean, because
Rob Baratheon still has bastards out the wazoo that Cersei
didn't have killed.

Well, I'd like to be a Stark.[/quote]
To reiterate: I'd be the oldest child of Ned & Catelyn, Artos
Stark. Robb would stay at Winterfell and take on the duties that
were given to Bran, allowing Bran to just be a kid for awhile
(said duties wouldn't be much fun).
This would leave me to become King of the North, only I wouldn't
marry for love or honor (depending on which version you prefer).
Knowing I had an agreement with the Freys, I wouldn't give
myself the opportunity to fall for a woman or have laid with one
out of grief. Therefore, my honor would not be in question. I am
a Stark after all, and honor is very important to me.
I'd marry the Frey girl no matter what she looked like. If I got
the hot one Edmure got, that would be okay too. Sticking to the
agreement would keep me alive and allow me to purge Westeros of
all Lannisters, except maybe for Tyrion.
I realize the story would change completely, but it IS a
fantasy. ;D

As a House Stark fan I would only choose Arya ( except I would
be Aaron obviously ) she will be a great assassin real soon.
However I would be Victarion Greyjoy or his bigger brother Euron
the Stormlord. To have your own ship and crew and take whatever
you want when you want with absolute brute force ( Victarion
wears armor and fights and kills his enemies with spiked
gauntlets on and off his ship. Euron has the massive dragon
horn which when blown, sends a call out dragons and he is the
Storm lord!!!
Excellent bad guy characters.

I'm also a big House Stark fan, and probably related most to
Robb since being the oldest of six in RL. It really sucked me
into the books from the very beginning with the six children,
six direwolves and all the symbolism especially when Ned died at
the end of the book leaving his six children scattered to fend
on their own just like the direwolves (their sigil none the
less). However, I could not survive the winters and would fit
more likely with the Tully's in personality and in environment -
Family, Duty, Honor. While he is definitely a lesser character,
I would probably go with the Blackfish or one of his sons (if he
has any) and be the heir to Riverrun now that Edmure is a puppet
to the Frey's.

Tough one.
Im drawn toward the Arbor, as I love Tuscany and wine regions
in general. However, the books have yet to really go there, so
Im probably projecting a bit.
Dorne wouldnt normally appeal to me at all, but I could see
myself in the Water Gardens enjoying a blood orange or two in
the early evenings. Doran Martell now there is a man with a
plan.
And I could certainly see myself doing an apprenticeship in the
Iron Bank of Bravos; technically they own most of Westeros by
now.
But when all is said and done, maybe Id just be a humble
cheesemonger, like Magister Illyrio Mopatis of Pentos.
