The frozen mobian's quest came short for the moment, being
mesmerized by the invading number of battleships, painting
Mobotropolis in black with their death-creating presence.
Speaking of death a laser of powerful magnitude beamed upon a
group of civilians and taking away their lives without a peep.
Emotions doesn't even began to describe his stoic mask being
stuck in a state of shock and horror. Its concerning the
situation wouldn't allow for another dose of feelings but the
chaos gods sensed Ty's desire to express his anger and sympathy
for the fate of these people.
Fangs are revealed behind perked lips, they are crunching
together with emerald eyes glaring at the ship with hatred for
Eggman. He didn't know these victims personally but they didn't
deserved to die like that, he spotted Amy, Sonya, and Soul he
remembered from the resistance war trying to engage the main
battle ship to put a stop to it, thank chaos he isn't alone.
Determined to find his brother he continued down the street
until he spotted Karahl getting sucked into a black hole.
Adrenaline took over his body as he crafted a frozen metal chain
attempting to pull the tigress away from the void but it was too
late, "Karahl!" the metal chain flopped on the ground as the
portal swallowed the assassin whole and vanished. "S,hit!" he
was just getting to know this woman, he wasnt able to save her
but there is still time to find his brother.
He eventually find his flaming counterpart in the distance, the
figure becoming recognizable as Ty draws near. "There you are
Blaze, we need to destroy those battleships before they do
anymore damage to the city, while Amy, Soul and Sonya handle the
big ship, we can deal with the other ships to weaken Eggman's
forces" he instructed. The muscular canine ran towards a narrow
alleyway, proceeding to hop between two buildings using a
wall-jump to get on the roof. Once his feet planted on the
surface, he created an ice pillar to ascend himself towards one
of the lesser battleships.
He jumped off of the towering pillar to latch on the ship to
climb up top, he began to freeze the entire exterior of the
airship attempting to override its mass with much weaker ice
exterior, he punched the ship trying shatter the metallic
juggernaut into a bazillion frozen pieces. The situation has
gotten worse as one of Eggman's strong enforcers Infinite has
arrived to the scene, mobians below are being terrified under
his mght, the ground turned into quicksand to trap in civilians
and he is stopping Amy, Sonya, and Soul's progress of reaching
the ship, there is nothing Ty can do about it, Damnit how low
can this slime ball go?
[Oh great, More problems] mentally frustrated by his presence.
Another entity arrived who bears a striking resemblance to Blaze
the Cat has come to challenge Infinte's power but it seems her
efforts have failed to make any impact on the Jackal, her flames
becoming her own enemy is concerning.

Blaze had just finished helping another group of mobians before
dealing with yet another swarm of robots. There was just no end
to this guys and it was getting Blaze nowhere it seemed. The
suddenly scream nearby caused Blaze to tense up briefly before
he ran to see where it came from only to catch a glimpse of a
female tiger being snatched up. He didn't even get a chance to
say anything before he knew it Ty stood in front of him giving
him instructions. He scratched his ear a bit in thought.
Ty did raise a good point. Those ships had to go. And with the
others busy fighting or helping others escape meant it was up to
the twins to stop the air fleet. Sighing briefly, Blaze followed
after his brother and flew up to the nearest ship and started to
burn a hole through one of the engines hoping to knock the ship
off course and away from the city. The less damage the better.
Speaking of burning, Blaze felt the strong energy of another
fire user close by. Looking back down he saw Ifinite and not to
far from him a female cat.
" Is that...Blaze the cat? She looks like she's in trouble. "
Blaze said to himself. Not wasting any time, he reached out with
his hand and began to asorb any flames that were in the
immediate area even the flames around empress Blaze.
" There...that should do it." he said before focusing on his
task once again.

Veira leaped from rooftop to rooftop at lightning speed seeing
the citizens below make a run for any safe place they could find
at this point. Eggman's flagships were tearing the capital apart
and there seemed no one was able to get to them without running
into some form of trouble. Leaping to one more rooftop, Veira
stopped and got a good look around. Where should she try and
focus helping? She crossed her arms and closed her eyes in
thought.
" This is madness....there's no end to these robots and we don't
have enough firepower to knock those ships down. As much as I
hate to say it....where is that damn hedgehog. He always shows
up at the most dramatic time. " she said with a frown.
Suddenly she was snapped out of her train of thought as the
sound of a familar voice caught her attention. Looking across
from her, she saw Empress Blaze challenging Infinite. When
Empress unleashed her attack, Veira braced herself for the worst
but something felt off to the huntress. Empress couldn't control
her flames. And by the looks of things she looked like she
already went through a battle.
Veira gritted her teeth as the flames were too hot to be near
presently but it was soon resolved as the flames went skyward
towards a flagship. Veira smiled when she realized who was
responsible for it before focusing on empress and went to her
aid.
" Empress! Are you okay? You look like hell.." Veira replied as
she leaped in front of empress with her sword drawn at Infinite.

The black hedgehog tangled with Eggman's minions for a
considerable amount of time, they all fall down under his power
with very little struggle from his end, being the ultimate
lifeform has its benefits. That doesn't mean he is invincible, a
clutter of enemies gathered up and cut off different areas of
escape to the point of oxygen being threatened to sever away the
brooding mobian's life. Having enough of their increasing vast
numbers Shadow's body engulfed in a crimson aura of chaos energy
preparing a Chaos Blast, an expanding red dome of energy
released and destroyed every nuts and bolts of robots standing
in his way.
"Hmph...Annoying vermin.." folding his arms, he could sit around
and battle these scraps of metal all day, he has a mission to
complete. Robotnik's airships invaded the city and without
warning a giant laser took away the lives of those poor
civilians. Shadow's arrogant posture morphed into shock then
eyes furrowed in vengeance, the doctor will pay dearly with his
life for this misdeed! Before he can avenge the fallen and join
with his allies to board the central aircraft, the ground below
him warped into a sandy texture, tainted by the presence of
familiar red squares and a pulsating sound he hoped didn't
exist, the black hedgehog's lower appendages are being dragged
inside the ground in a slow pace.
"Quicksand!? No..it isn't real.." it certainly caught him off
guard but it didn't throw him off his game entirely, ruby eyes
shifted to find the person responsible for this mind-trickery, a
masked Jackal who is largely to blame for this carnage.
"Infinte.." gritting his teeth, its time to make him bow down to
a God of Destruction. He then spotted Empress arriving to make a
brave effort to confront Infinite himself, it looks like she's
in a load of trouble, her power failing in her time of need is
proof to be the case, guess she wasn't so tough after all. He
watched Amy, Sonya and Soul trying to board the ship but they
are pushed back by Infinite's power, not if Shadow has anything
to say about it!
Shadow's body is caught halfway in the sand, almost forgetting
he is sinking, he teleported out of the -fake-terrain and landed
on a building, he teleported again in the air, allowing momentum
to guide him towards his comrades, a blue aura brighten his body
preparing to his one of his signature skills. "Chaos...CONTROL!"
he waited until he was within range of the trio, teleported
himself and the rest of them on top of the ship, a set of fierce
eyes focused on Infinite, the first target of his vengeance, "I
wont let you have your way Infinite!" declaring a challenge, the
battle for the fate of the world has just begun.

The combined efforts of Soul, Ty and the girls managed to bring
down the attack ship sending it crashing into the streets below;
it landed in a mangled heap of steel granting the heroes a small
victory in the face of overwhelming odds. Thanks to the burning
wolf's efforts the fires were being calmed and stopped from
spreading when the embers entered the air Robotnik frowned
noticing Blaze the Cat's entry into the fray. His scowl deepened
seeing the destruction of his precious air support as he moved
his plan into the final phase. [glow=red,2,300]"Infinite, Metal
you've done well in tormenting those who dared to stand against
us. Now we move into the final phase of my plan. Scatter them
like vermin, let them flee into the trees and mount what
insignificant resistance they can. Without the hedgehog, they
are doomed to fail. Activate it." [/glow]
Robotnik's black heart revelled in the death and destruction he
wrought, and he would ensure that his next move would destroy
all hope that remained.
[glow=red,2,300] "Citizens of Mobotropolis. I have killed your
hope and tonight I take your city and give you OBLIVION! My
ultimate weapon is being primed as we speak. The Bio-Eradicator
will initiate a countdown and when the timer reaches zero, all
biological life remaining inside the city limits with the
exception of Infinite and myself will be pulled apart atom by
atom. So please if you think yourself brave stay and fight me. I
look forward to watching you be pulled apart molecule by
molecule. I'll have no vermin in my city. The hedgehog was the
first to fall to this Brillant weapon and now you'll all feel my
wrath." [/glow]Robotnik bellowed as his SWATbots had finished
welding his device to the tallest tower in the city. The
Bio-Eradicator was a hexagonal device lined with all seven chaos
emeralds as it's the power source. The mystical gems sparked to
life emitting a golden glow while channelling their energy to
the electrical coil at the centre of the device. Robotnik smiled
looking down to Metal. [glow=red,2,300]"Those who escape, I'll
task you and Infinite to hunt down. See me later and I'll give
the three of you your assignments. We have much work to do."
[/glow]Robotnik roared while wringing his hands maniacally.
The countdown has begun.
"10"
(IMPORTANT NOTE : Any Characters still inside the city limits
when the timer hits zero will be killed.)

James didn't find much success while fumbling with his radio, so
instead he tuned it to an unscrambled emergency frequency. It
would mean everyone could hear what he was saying... but it
hardly mattered. Eggman had air superiority and his forces was
everywhere, it wouldn't matter if they knew what he was up to or
where he was. He was likely dead regardless.
That was when he felt the ground he stood on give way under him
and as he looked down he saw he was standing on quicksand and it
was starting to suck him down. He gasped and looked for
something, anything to grab onto in order to pull himself out of
the sand. Even as he wasn't pulled all the way down, he was
stuck and locked in place inside the alley he had taken cover
in. Part of him thought it couldn't real, but he was currently
too pressured to acknowledge that part of his mind. Instead, he
tried to find a secure hold and pull himself up.
Things did brighten up somewhat as he heard one of the
battleships come crashing down, but he couldn't see it, nor
could he see a lot of the fighting in general. He could still
hear it though and what he heard next shook him to the core.
Eggman was counting down to their eradication and he could do
nothing about it. He was just dead in the water. With no other
option remaining, he turned on the radio.
"To anyone out there, this is Riot Officer James Mitchell!" he
yelled in a panicked voice as his professional facade started to
break, "i am dead in the water in an alleyway not far from the
civilian rally spot! Two alleys down on the right! I need help!
Please!"

As the situation continued to become more and more desolate a
certain familiar face saw it to fit to make their long overdue
entrance. A thunderous sonic boom erupted from within the city
as moments after the shock-wave was heard a series of bots would
immediately meet with an unfortunate fate. Faster than the eye
could see a blue blur tore through the ruined cityscape as a
train of Buzzbombers and Swatbots were torn & shredded to bits
in a fantastical display! Explosion after explosion signified
the rapidly increasing destruction of another bot as the blue
blur rampaged through the city at breakneck speeds. The
meticulously crafted display of destruction came to an end in an
explosive crescendo as the blue blur came to a stop while
perching themself on one of the many tall buildings within the
city.
Lifting their hand up and wagging their pointer finger in a
rhythmic and mischievous manner he let loose a criminally
cheerful smirk despite the nature of the situation. Green eyes
stared outwards at the targets before him before he announced
his presence verbally with a carefree tone. "Well Egghead I
gotta say, I'm impressed! You certainly outdid yourself this
time! It's gonna make it pretty hard for me to outperform this
stunt of yours! I'll still knock you outta the park though, just
you watch!" He proudly boasted. He wasn't exactly sure whether
the mad doctor could hear him but that didn't matter to him. All
that mattered was saving as many folks as he could manage and
being a pain in Eggman's side! Sonic the Hedgehog was back and
the whole world was gonna know it!
Unfortunately there was no time to play games! Leaping from his
perch the blue hedgehog once again took off with thunderous boom
to signify the continuation of his earlier blitz! Within the
time limit before him the blue blur was gonna do his best to
trash as many badniks and rescue as many folks as he could
manage! There were certainly a handful of malicious menaces he
was looking to curb stomp if at all possible. The city comes
first and there's not a second to spare! It's time to show these
bozos the true meaning of sonic speed!
Speaking of folks in need of help he quickly stopped his
onslaught as he spotted James. Screeching to a halt he remained
perched above the quicksand once more as he took a gander at The
Shepard in question. He seemed like he was in need of an assist
or something of the sort. "Well hey there bud, need a hand?" The
blue blur questioned as he looked at the shield wielding mobian
and prepared a plan to save him from his current predicament.
They'd done a good job to hold out for this long in such an
intense situation! The heroic hedgehog was quite impressed to
put it lightly!

Amy felt her hope almost leave her as she saw Infinite stop them
from moving up to the battleship. Sonya's words gave her some
encouragement as the pink hedgehog tried to think of a way to
bypass the overpowered jackel's sway on reality itself; however,
she was reminded that she didn't have to try and do this alone
as her beloved came through in a black and red streak, engaging
Infinite and offering the appropriate distraction. "Now! Once
again, Sonya!" she said, then launched them again at the
battleship, this time summoning her giant hammer at the ready as
she whirled the mammoth mallet around, creating a giant cyclone
to shoot them into the air above the vessel. Counting on Sonya's
shields, and Soul's abilities, she finally had a chance to swing
her hammer down with all the force she had. The force of her
weapon seemed to crumple the ship's hull as if it was made of
aluminium foil, the carrier bulked and groaned under the impact
as the fighters of freedom knocked it out of the sky.
Amy Rose would then land back on the ground with her
sister-in-arms and smiled at their accomplishment, but it was
short-lived when the announcement from Robotnik bellowed above
her head, she looked up and the color drained from her skin as
she saw the device that killed her Sonic starting up and the
countdown was already at 8 seconds.
"SHADOW!!!" she called out to the hedgehog she loved, hoping to
get his attention in time as she pulled Sonya into a bridle
carry and began to run for the edge of the city. As her speed
increased, the aura around the hedgehog female began to glow
pink, creating a rosy streak that trailed behind the female
hedgehog.
"!!!" Amy felt something pass through her as a somewhat familiar
presence registered itself in her special sense and she almost
stopped running to look back. Almost. 'No... it's impossible. He
died. I can't stop now.'
