Hey guys we all know how much fun we've had with the setting so |
|
I'm not going to get all sappy and write a massive thing. As of |
|
tonight I'll be closing the ability to post on every board Sonic |
|
Spotlight has. The site will be left open to browse old threads |
|
and posts, but I think this Sonic setting needs to end. In a way |
|
I feel it's holding me back creatively because the core of SS |
|
was carried into RUSH! many of you know that. Every reboot or |
|
attempt to refresh the status quo we've had sorta just fizzles |
|
out and I think that's because |
|
1. Nothing new we do can really top the old setting we had, we |
|
were balls deep in lore and development and it was amazing. |
|
2. It ended several times. Take your pick of which one you'd |
|
like to think is canon but we have tried to end this like three |
|
times followed by a refresher that we all just loose interest |
|
in. A good story knows when to end. At the end of the day |
|
Spotlight was my vision for Sonic and now I've lost interest in |
|
directing the story and flow of events it needs to end or it's |
|
just going to stagnate and go nowhere, like it has been. So |
|
you'll be able to read all your old threads but posting will |
|
cease. I'm still up for RP but I simply can't run rp at the |
|
moment and feel like this needs to be put to bed. |
|
Seeing as you all can't agree on a new setting I can see you all |
|
still want to do Sonic so here's what I suggest. Go start your |
|
own Sonic RP that's your vision for the franchise where you |
|
invite me to RP Sonic and I take a back seat while you drive the |
|
narrative or if you'd like to RP Sonic or find somebody new to |
|
do it GO for it. Invite me to RP Scourge or something, (I know |
|
none of you like him anyway so that's always a safe bet xD) So |
|
if you'd like to still do a Sonic setting either make your own |
|
or go join Stars. All I can say is don't make your new RP set |
|
after the events of Sonic Spotlight, that story is over it's |
|
done to death. Do something totally new that's your vision or |
|
yanno go join stars. |
