[Unknown Forest] Lost and Found

Robin must've gone the wrong way when chasing after Fem from
Natasha's house because he didn't recognise the trees, the trail
died out five minutes back from his walk and he was now on a
path with no direction, and he hadn't found the hedgefox he
seemed out to find.
"Well this is just great" Robin said sounding a little irritated
as he threw his arms in the air out of annoyance. How could he
of let her slip through his fingers so easily?
Why'd it matter? Why was it mattering to him this much? "You
haven't got a clue have you now Robin? Nope, and now I'm talking
to myself, that's one of the first signs of insanity yanno? Well
great We'r-I'm going nuts" He smacked his right hand to his
forehead "Ah it's not all that bad, out here is actually pretty
nice, except for the heat, it must be some sort of tropical
rainforest or...something, these trees are dense" He gave a
small pant as sweat started to form on him from the rising
temperature the forest brought. He put a hand on a tree and
flopped down before looking down at the bandages Natasha had
done up for him, "How are you going to repay those girls back
anyway? They only saved your life" Robin ran a hand through his
hair and then put a hand on the back of his neck, "I dunno, but
I've gotta find something" He said to himself aloud before
pushing himself back up onto his feet and beginning to trudge on
through the thick forest.
Everywhere he looked there was at least one big spider web with
an even bigger spider positioned in the centre, he shivered and
shuddered, spiders? They made his fur crawl.
Speak of the devil, what was that on his head? Robin froze and
his eyes went wide and up. A big black leg follow by a few more
where only just in view and atop his head. A big black spider
was on top of his head. What kind of spider it was he couldn't
tell but it was big. How he hadn't seen it hanging above before
walking underneath it he didn't know maybe there was a more
logical, or not, explaination for how it got there without him
noticing?

Fem's trail was gone alright. She'd been warped off! Ceil had
warped Fem off as she travelled and had been tinkering with her
mind for a few minutes testing the 'Psychic Guard' and adding
upgrades to it after realising "a few uplink sub-mechanics were
worn down to barely above the legally required communication
packet transmission units". She was finishing the upgrades as
Robin looked everywhere and warped Fem into the trees around his
area as the large spider landed on him. It wouldn't take Fem
more than a few seconds to take a shot at the Spider to blow it
off of Robin's head. After which, she jumped down to Robin.
[I]"Whatcha dooooin'?"[/I] she asked him, letting out a giggle.
Any spiders attempting to go towards Fem may have thought better
of it as the temperature dramatically changed the closer they
got. Ceil having initiated a 5 minute 'anthropoid signal freeze
shield' on Fem as it became realised where she was going to be
dropped. Robin wouldn't be able to feel the freeze as the
frequency of the shield was tuned to only trigger temperature
receptors in anthropoids like Spiders.

Robin's lower lip trembled feeling the spider crawl about atop
his head. Spiders. Why'd it have to be spiders? Out of all the
ruddy things in a big forest like this one and it had to be the
one thing he feared most.
Where was Sapphire? She usually talked to the spiders whenever
they became a bother to him. He needed her to talk this one into
getting off of his head. Oh. But then it might crawl down him to
get off. Eeeeghhhh!
BAM.
Fem's shot knocked the spider clean off the top of Robin's head,
and Robin ducked down putting his arms over his head, letting
out a sound of surprise and fear, after a few moments he
realised he was okay and the spider was now gone. He looked up
hearing Fem's voice before flipping out at seeing her, gasping
for air with his eyes wide and fur on end.
The wild dog clutched his heart and took in a few deep breathes
before calming down, his eyes stating on Fem's "Looking for you"
He answered before he pushed himself up onto his feet and dusted
himself off. He brought an arm to his forehead and wiped it. His
thick fur coat wasn't helping with this ruddy heat. After
falling down he'd managed to get himself a little grubby again,
some of the grub on his face already.
The wild dog looked around himself and Fem, the birds where
making beautiful songs all about them and fluttering about where
an occasional butterfly or two. Overall, it was a rather
beautiful spot the two had managed to stop in. "What are you
doing out here? I haven't gotten to pay you back yet for saving
my life Miss Madeliene" He said, putting his hands on his waist,
looking about again "Aside from that this place is beautiful,
did you come out here for any oeticular reason Madeliene? Can I
help you to find something perhaps?"

[I]"Of course you were. Ehe."[/I] Fem thought to herself,
listening to him with a smile before looking around when he
pointed out the area. But his next question of if he could help
her, she knew just what to say, moving a finger to his chin.
[I]"Oh I've already found what [B]i'm[/B] looking for."[/i] she
said as she leaned in towards him. Though she froze up as an
unnatural, eerie sound suddenly sounded through the jungle, her
eyes widening she held up a finger. [I]"One Minute."[/I] she
said before dashing up a nearby tree. Peering through the rifle
scops, her suspicions were concerned and oh was dread filling
her fast! Dark green grass, no flowers or trees, just tall green
vines with tons of spikes flowing through the breeze, but most
worryingly, a purple haze. In the middle of it all. One three
pointed gem very dangerous to the hedgefox. [I]"No!"[/I]
[I]"Sigma Three!"[/I] [B]ZAP![/B] Fem would let out a pained
scream as a bolt of dark energy electrified her for a few
seconds, small amounts of smoke billowing off of her, she would
fall backwards out of the tree, heading fast for the ground.

Robin's chin lifted up slightly as she moved a finger to it, his
cheeks flushing a slight red as he looked to her and the
hedgefox leaned in to him, his eyes started to slowly close the
closer she got to the wild dog, as if he was expecting her to
kiss him again.
But then she froze and his ears flicked at the eerie noise that
sounded throughout the thick jungle of a forest. He opened his
eyes back up as Fem held up a finger and then dashed up a nearby
tree, Robin whistled in awe as he watched her shoot up the tree,
"[sub]What. A. Gal.[/sub]" He muttered softly to himself as she
disappeared up the tree.
A few moments later though and he'd be jumping at her pained
scream, good thing he'd already been heading towards the tree.
Robin only just managed to catch Fem in his arms after she'd
fallen out, "Madeliene! Madeliene can you hear me!?" He knelt
down, sitting her on the ground with her head on his knelt up
leg, untying his body suit from around his waist and using it as
a bit of a hammock in his arms for Fem before picking her back
up again, hopefully the still half wet body suit would cool her
off too, he'd seen the smoke.
Robin didn't need to be asked, once he'd gotten a good grip on
her, he shook himself to make his utility belt rattle and shake,
eventually shaking one of the chips that would then fold out
into one of his two hover boards, the board was cyan mostly in
colour, the faster board of the two. Perfect.
He jumped on top of the board with Fem in arms and then leaned
forwards, taking off through the forest, away from the threat
behind them. "Hold on tight... And don't worry, I've got you" He
said to Fem, pressing his pink nose against her right cheek
before focusing on swerving all the greenery and trying to avoid
him and Fem, Fem mostly from getting whipped by the passing tree
branches.

Fem was unconscious as two glows emanated off of her, one
purple, and an orange one started as she landed in Robin's arms,
as the two travelled, the two glows would separately fade and
then regain their full strength, eventually, after about a few
miles, the purple glow and the smoke would fully fade, leaving
just the Orange, which then slowly faded away. [I]"Phew."[/I]
Fem's eyes would slowly open at this point. Getting a look
around her she realised she was in Robin's arms again, a smile
coming onto her face. Leaning up, she pressed her lips against
his right cheek. [I]"My Hero."[/I] she whispered. The moment
would be short lived though, as her eyes spotted a missile
coming towards the duo. She [B]knew[/b] that noise sounded
unnatural. It wasn't the Dark Gem, that had just been around in
a twist of bad luck, it was a helicopter!

Robin was glad to see her wake up, well, he heard her first, but
was still very relived that she was okay enough to wake back up
again. Although the kiss was sweet and yes Robin liked it, it
also wasn't the best move. Robin's fur stood on end, his face
going red as it changed to an expression of a wonky bewilderment
and started to heat up. He shook his head, trying to focus
again, but then she whispered to him, calling him, her Hero.
Then came the missile, Robin couldn't keep it up with the board
after being thrown off like he had.
The board suddenly stopped, Robin looked down looking a bit
panicked 'No..Nononono please no! Not now!'. The board gave few
jolts forward, similar to a car bunny hopping, if Robin didn't
have a strong grip to both the board and Fem they would've both
been sent off of it. Speaking of which, the back of the board
went up, and the front of it went down before it shot forwards
again and then suddenly stopped, sending them both flying off of
it. Robin curled himself over Fem to cover her the best he could
and take the fall hurt himself, they'd roll and roll and roll
until finally they stopped in a soft patch of grass surrounded
by some pretty looking fruit bushes and very tall and thick
trucked trees.
Robin groaned and laid up slightly, putting a hand on his head
before looking around him, what a beautiful spot~ wait, where
was Fem!? This grass was a little too soft under his chest. He
looked down, and there she was. He'd landed on top of her and
both of them in laying positions. "I Uhhhh..." He gulped looking
down at the hedgefox, his face quick to go red.
He tried to get up off of her but he found his body had frozen
up, why did he have to be so painfully shy to her? Robin's
eyelids drooped the longer he looked at her and it took the
missile to get him to unfreeze and get moving.
The only thought he had, was to make sure Fem was safe from that
missile. He knew what to do too.
Grabbing the arm sleeves of the suit he had worn when the two
first met back when he was sinking in Knothole lake. He held up
the hands part to Madeliene and must of activated something,
because the bright green 'paw' pads on the hand part of the
outfit, lit up, starting to glow brightly, followed by a shield
popping up and covering up only Fem, it was only big enough to
cover one person too it seemed.
"Okay, this'll keep you safe for sure" For added measure he then
wrapped his arms around her in a hug, using himself as a mobian
shield for her also. "I won't let anything or anyone hurt you, I
promise" But would she let him be hurt?

[glow=red,2,300][I]"Good thinking Robin!"[/I][/glow] called out
a voice that had appeared between them and the missile. A figure
covered from head to toe and tails too, in crimson red armour,
had appeared between the duo and the missile. The visor was
down, so the face couldn't be seen, but Fem knew fine well who
was behind the armour. Her eyes widening she buried her face
into Robin's chest. She knew Ceil was tough, but there was one
thing here she didn't know... And as their new appearance turned
in the direction of the missile, [B]BOOM![/B] The missile would
hit her straight on, causing an explosion and a smoke screen to
suddenly surround the point of explosion. A few seconds would
pass and the very same figure would just wander out of the
dissipating smoke, the crimson armour wasn't even dented let
alone broken. She didn't even look like she'd just taken a whole
medium sized missile and its explosion to the body.
[glow=red,2,300][I]"I appreciate you doing what you could to
keep Fem safe hon."[/I][/glow] their mystery figure said to
Robin, lifting her visor to reveal a green pair of eyes as Fem
looked up, a smile came onto the light blue hedgefox's face
seeing who it was.
[I]"Ce!"[/I] [I]"Hey hon."[/I] Acura had a light smile on her
face as Fem called out to her, but she shook her head slightly.
[I]"Hon, Ixnay the Caray, yeah?"[/I] she said, stepping towards
the duo.
[I]"Oh yeah sorry. ^^' Robin, this is Acura, one of my best
friends."[/I] she said, she couldn't go any closer to her, as
she had Robin wrapped around her, and the shield, and she
couldn't have asked for anyone better to be around her in her
opinion. The Orange hedgefox was about to shake things up though
with what she would say next.
[I]"I trust you're interested in reuniting with Sapphire
following this jump through time, Robin?"[/I]

Robin's ears pricked up hearing the voice call out, turning his
head to the side to look back and see a figure covered in armour
from head to toe, standing between them and the missile. In
fact, the figure took on the missile and came out without even a
scratch. Robin hugged Fem tighter when the figure addressed him
again, his eyes a little wide in fright, and his fur was
slightly fluffed and puffed up.
It was only until Fem and Acura shared words that Robin let go
of the hedgefox and relaxed slightly, sitting down next to Fem
and letting go of his pilot body suit to drop the shield.
The wild dog looked around them, his ears still on the two to
show he was listening though. He leaned over and lightly dug at
the ground, pulling up a flower and its roots from the ground,
he dusted some of the dirt away and then sat back, holding out
his flower to Madeliene with a small shy smile on his face,
"[sub]It reminded me of you[/sub]" He said softly. Well the
gorgeous flower was a light blue with darker blue splotches,
kind of like Fem's fur and eyes, or so Robin thought.
If the hedgefox hadn't taken the flower before Acura asked the
last part though, Robin would drop it, his eyes going wide and
his hands going to the belt on his waist, his fingers fumbling
to undo his left side pouch and his hand thrusting inside it
once he'd gotten it open. "What are you talking about" Robin
said, although a question, he didn't say it in a way that was
like he was actually asking it. Looking up at Ceil, his
expression hard to read as he was trying to read hers behind
what her helmet would show.
Robin then seemed to have something tug at his mind, something
that got him to jump up, look at Fem, making him hesitate before
he walked a few steps away and put his nose to the air before
rushing off into a bunch of bushes and coming back out with his
board.
He gave a light sigh before dropping it and holding up his hands
"Okay, okay, you've got me, just, please. I'm begging you, leave
Sapphire, I'll come quietly if you leave her be, you have no
idea of the unimaginable things SHE'd do to her if she got her
claws on Sapphire, show a bit of heart, huh? I'm sure bringing
in me should satisfy HER for quite some time, you'll be rewarded
well I'm sure. I only ask that you make sure Sapphire's traces
are erased" He said, hanging his head down, picking his board up
again and takin a few steps away from both of them. What the
heck was the boy on about?

Fem had a smile on her face as Robin held the flower out to her,
giving him another kiss on his cheek, though concern went across
her face as Robin got up and sniffed out his board. He really
thought she was evil? Of course, the Orange hedgefox had a good
idea what Robin was on about, but Robin seemed to have assumed
that she was working for the very one she was supposed to be
trying to annihilate, which didn't exactly please her, but she'd
butt heads with a Robin before, and one of her teammates had
actually gathered back a reason they were in the past in the
first place, which made it easier for her.
[I]"Robin. If I meant you a problem hon, I would have warped you
off in a bubble already. Let's get one thing straight here. We
want the same thing, okay?"[/I] she would point out. Holding up
a hand, a hologram of a dark skied Mobotropolis appeared in her
hand. [I]"Your time fixed..."[/I] the darkness would fade as she
said this, the miniature city figure being illuminated by
sunlight. [I]"And my dead teammate's white lady."[/I] upon
saying that, a white cat with a black tail tip would appear in
her hand, a weight would drop on the cat and squish it, before a
large green tick appeared in the hedgefox's hand.
[I]"A cat?"[/I] [I]"Dogs naturally despise cats, no?"[/I]
[I]"And the black tail?"[/I] [I]"Well what creature is
naturally, completely 100% one colour? Seemed to make more sense
to me."[/i]
[I]"I'm not from your time Robin, knowing Fem, who likes you
back by the way, should point that out."[/I] she would point
out. At this point, Fem would get up, and wrap her arms around
Robin, looking a little sadly into his emerald green eyes with
her blue ones. [I]"If you don't believe me, ask Fem any of
this,make wouldn't tell you a lie, I know she couldn't, why?
Because [B]you[/B] couldn't tell [B]her[/b] a lie for the same
reason. Correct me if I'm wrong?"[/I] Acura seemed confident
that she could get her message across, despite that Robin, as
she knew firsthand, could notably be a hardhead. Confidence
misplaced?
[I]"But enough of that, you're back here in this time to escape
that, correct?"[/I] she would ask before nodding. [I]"Sapphire
has wrapped herself up in a murder mystery, and she could use
your brains to help her out. This would be a nice opportunity to
introduce Fem, Madeliene, to her and bond a little more with
her, don't you think? Besides..."[/I] Acura would look towards
Fem at this point. [I]"The MFF robbed the mercs looking for you
hon. The Engi's Nuke plans and the team's Pixtarium stash. I'm
not sure what they want with Pixtarium, but it links to the
production of nuclear as well as several hormone reaction
concoctions amongst other things.."[/I] This would make Fem
shake her head. [I]"And their little ringleader of a hedgefox
isn't beyond dropping nukes to get her way... They just don't
know when to quit huh?"[/I] [I]"Tashie's on a high following
their victory two days ago hon. I should have known better than
to send rookies to defend them. Robin, Madeliene, your teams are
up there, and they need you on hand. I should hope you'd be
willing to go and help them."[/I] Fem would turn her attention
back to Robin provided he hadn't pushed himself away or done
anything nasty in fear of what he thought was going on. [I]"My
team is a few miles north Robin. Can you get us there?"[/I] she
would ask him if he was still okay.
