I ordered a Leapers 6-24x50, but they had sold out, but supplied |
|
me with the Russian branded Leapers which is called "sniper" !! |
|
Identical scope except the illumination is green and blue, as |
|
opposed to green and red ;D |
|
Excellent scope, fantastic value for money. |

By the time I got it here (10 days from china, with tracking |

too) it cost me about �40-�45.00 total. It sells in the UK for |
|
�299.00 RRP in shops. |
|
The reason its so expensive in the UK is the same with |
|
everything. The importer buys them and then when they arrive, |
|
because its a large quantity, they have to pay 20% vat and 3.5% |
|
import tax. Then to this the importer puts his margin of 200% |
|
on, and sells it to the shops, who also then add VAT and their |
|
margin of 100-200% and you end up with that price. |
|
Buying anything from outside the EU, you only pay VAT and import |
|
tax of the total price INCLUDING shipping exceeds �126.00, and |
|
then hey charge you over the WHOLE amount, post included. |
|
So keep the total under �126.00 and you don't pay anything to |
|
HMRC |
|
The scope will be sent well packed, and is tracked and insured |
|
too, and they are excellent |
