Have to say I'm for Sunday shooting
Working all week, and then taking kids to clubs on Saturdays,
makes it difficult to get out. At least Sunday will give me an
extra opportunity at the weekends.
Although being Northern Ireland, I would say some land owners
wouldn't want u out on a Sunday

I am all for it for vermin control they don't stop eating on a
Sunday feather and fur,I think the game birds and waterfowl need
one day of, i personally wouldn't shoot them on a Sunday, but i
wouldn't be against anybody else doing it.
This is just a personal preference.

mon til sat I shoot lough Beg and to stop some idiots From over
shooting the ducks you can only shoot it wed and a sat Some
Greedy Pricks out there want to kill every thing in sight My own
personal opinion couple ducks for the pot does me More about
just getting onto the lough early in the morning get away from
stresses of life :)

One thing i would like to see is the duck shooting season put
back to the first of October, this year especially ,i live on
the shores of lough neagh and have noticed this year the birds
have young from as early as March because of the warm weather we
have had, some are now sitting on a second set of eggs. This
will mean probably a third in August. These birds and excuse the
pun, will be sitting ducks.

Any Duck i shot up at Beg were fully grown adults mallard and
teal. Oct i dont think is a good month personal opinion November
is when the Migrant Birds come in with a cold snap I tend to not
shoot October much due till the mallards and teal being a lot
wiser With the amount of guns popping at them But think your
right Big Bill in some guns need to watch what there shooting
Wasent much Geese About compared to other seasons maybe what
your saying about the warmer weather Fingers crossed for the
First of September ???
