PSNI Firearms online application launch scheduled for 16 Jan 201 |

For info if you have not heard already. |
|
The PSNI are launching the Online system on the 16 January 2017. |
|
Dual paper and online process for 6 Months. |
|
No need for landowners to fill out forms or sign forms. Just |
|
put in their details. |
|
Only referees required to do anything for approval. |
|
I would encourage anyone to attempt the online system as the |
|
test version was quite simple to complete. The important bit is |
|
to have all the information in front of you before you fill it |
|
in. Especially all the information regarding referees if |
|
applicable. |

|
Has anyone experience of using the online system? Specifically |
|
the time delay for an addition.. Think it is time to get a .22 |

I am getting reports for variations from 5 days to 12 days at |
|
the minute. That is from submission to FAC landing at your |
|
door. |

Here is my experience about an initial application. |
|
Filled the form in completely. on Sat night, got a text message |
|
from 1 of my referees about 20 mins after i hit submit saying he |
|
had competed reference form.. |
|
Other one was done today.. will keep you posted on how long the |
|
rest takes... |
