There are a lot of older generation certificate holders who have |
|
never turned a computer on never mind used one. If you introduce |
|
technology, you will reduce their desire to apply for a |
|
variation or a regrant. This will reduce the amount of firearms |
|
in circulation, thus allowing the police to show that they are |
|
actively managing firearms ownership. My greatest concern would |
|
be the security implications. Hackers can infiltrate the FBI and |
|
CIA etc, so what would make you think they couldn't access our |
|
details? |

I was a no candidate on this one. Yes security will be an issue |

as you are hanging out on the line what guns you have and where |

If the system is used as how it should be then it will work. The |

only flaw in my mind is where a referee does not have or know |

how to use the internet. My answer is simple. Use some one who |
|
does. |
