Tame Birds? |

This is a subject that I brought up a few years ago in the GC |
|
Gun club that i was in. Now i myself don't shoot phesants as |
|
they are really scarce round my area and it's a completly |
|
different type of shooting that i'm just not into. |
|
Is the releasing of "tame birds" year on year a good idea or no? |
|
My Question was more to the point of asking wether the rounding |
|
up/ catching the wild birds and observing their health a better |
|
thing to do rather than releasing as I see it "tame" phesants |
|
into the wild. |
|
I was laughed at and the sec said it was alot easier to just |
|
keep releasing birds into the wild. Remember im the only one |
|
along with one other fella that actually shoot vermin. |
|
So i left |
|
Anyway im wondering if any of you lads have come across this? |

i think you are on the ball its just targets they are looking |
|
dont want to put the work in some driven shoots they put them |
|
out the night befor an the guns cant even take what they shoot |

I think it is a sin and a very lazy way of making sport . I use |
|
the word sport very loosly! |
|
I'd say there are many GC's across ireland North&South that are |
|
doing this! |
