Hi gents. |
|
I currently shoot at NITSA as it was one of the few clubs i |
|
could get any details on that was half close to me. |
|
Are there any other pistol/rifle clubs (.223) within around 30 |
|
miles of Lisburn? I want to shoot rifle primarily but able to |
|
shoot my pistols there as well. |
|
Any help would be appreciated. |

I'm a member of Ballydougan Gun Club. It's in Bleary (between |
|
Lurgan and Gilford) so even closer for you!! It pistol and .22 |
|
rifle, if you fancy a wee visit message me and we'll soon |
|
arrange something mate. |

Neil that range is just up the road from me, it's 100 % mate, |
|
attached to a dealers as well. |

NITSA have took over an indoor shooting range on the Largy Road |
|
( think its down at Langford lodge) at Crumlin so it would only |
|
be about 15min drive from Lisburn ? well takes me 20 from |
|
Finaghy road |

im in NITSA as well but I haven't got up to largy rd as yet , |
|
can you tell me where on the largy road it is ? my bro works in |
|
Langford lodge and he has never heard off the shooting club on |
|
largy road |

hi Kev. it is a bit of a bugger to get to if you do not know |
|
exactly where it is. |
|
You will need to bring your club ID up with you to gain |
|
admittance. |
|
He prob wouldn't have heard of the club as like most clubs, they |
|
were discrete about their operation. Thankfully they are more |
|
approachable now. |
|
Jim sent an e-mail out about 2-3 weeks ago with precise |
|
directions. If you e-mail Jim he will resend the mail with |
|
precise directions. it is roughly opposite the farm meat place. |
|
You pass Gortnagallion road and it is in the estate on the |
|
right immediately past it. |
|
What disciplines you shoot at NITSA. I prob know you if you |
|
shoot practical. |

I only joined the club about 7 weeks ago after going down with a |
|
work mate and that was hooked ;D Jim was on holidays at this |
|
stage and I only met him 2 weeks ago |
|
I have to go down on Saturday to leave another 2 photos in for |
|
my membership card and hopefully it should be ready ::) I was |
|
going to ASK Jim about largy road as its a lot handier for me to |
|
get to |
