| sorry if this has been asked before, but, I wont lie.. i cant be | |
| bothered searching through all the old posts. | |
| I have a CZ452 rifle but I'm looking for a shotgun in the near | |
| future to give me more options in my shooting. Clay pigeons, | |
| crows etc etc. can anyone recommend a good starter gun and if i | |
| should look for a semi auto or an over and under? | |

| Id would recommend you visit a clay shooting ground or a gun | |
| dealer with a shooting ground and try a shot or two with both | |
| and see which you preferr. There is not much difference in them | |
| really. The 3rd shot is handy with the semi auto and as said if | |
| shooting from a hide its easier to reload as you dont have to | |
| point the gun down. It really comes down to personal preference. | |

| As woodcock said try them out then you'll know; personally I'm | |
| not a fan of o/u's, only ever fired one I liked lol there's plus | |
| points and minus points, semi autos have 1 extra shot and kick | |
| less than a o/u, and as mentioned a semi is easier to load in | |
| hides, etc. having said that o/u's are usually more reliable, no | |
| semi auto I've ever owned (4 so far) has run flawlessly, tho its | |
| usually down to either needing broken in or crap ammo :-\ | |
| Ps most reliable semi ive found so far is the hatsan escort, | |
| they're cheap too, brand new around 400, so would recommend one | |
| of those if you want a semi | |
