Was thinking about the g10's and g2000's and was wondering
what's the law on these now? I used to see them in every
outdoor/arms surplus shop but haven't seen them in years!

I read a page on them there that stated if you were using bb
pellets or darts that was ok but if you put pellets in then it
was a firearm. Not sure if that was just the mainland or not
tho!

They can be bought and owned without licence across the water
regardless of projectile. There's probably thousands of them in
circulation over here.

Believe it or not. U would need to put it on FAC. I think
its like anything over 1 joule of energy then its considered
as a firearm. Accross the water you can buy anything
up to 12ft/lb without a FAC.

Aye was thinking that-a good strong elastic band would need an
fac about here!!
So what would happen say for example if someone was to find one
in their house that they bought as a young fella from a high
street shop and it's not on an fac!? I'm assuming being a pistol
type firearm you would have to be a member of an appropriate gun
club to get it on an fac!?
(Just an example in my head!! Lol)

I reckon you should get granted an air pistol for hd of caged
rats ..
if I found one in the house from being a kid ,I'd ring my local
feo and explain the craic and get it removed

Child21 dont be so sure. Through work was aquired a .22 air
pistol for humane distruction of mink and greys. I could have
got a .243 quicker and with less hoops to jump through!!
